| I'm sure you can find a job that pays 7.50. Minimum wage is only 7.15, so naturally it can't by that much harder to find another job.
Chains are always good for college jobs because of the side benefits they offer. |

| Seifer had been silent this whole time. The whirring of the blades above his head was a constant reminder that they faced the end of the road, be it good or bad. Would they live? Would they die? These thoughts pervaded his mind, and drew the charismatic fighter quiet. After a moment, he stepped into the middle of the helicopter, feeling a strange sense of passion.
"This war started five years ago with the falling of the meteor. It had seemed just as much like the end of the world then as it might now, and we overcame it. Josiah may be powerful, almost god-like, but we...we have something he'll never have. We have a reason to live. A reason to fight. A reason to die, if it comes down to that. Leon, Holly, Alden, Isha, Eric, Brad...It's been damn good this few weeks by your sides. Let's hope we all make it out of this one." Seifer nodded a few times before leaning back against the wall, running the fight in his mind. Despite Josiah's gargantuan strength, he felt they could do it. He felt pride in his brothers in arms. |

| Eddie sat quiet in his chair, staring ahead at the chalkboard. His friends in the Social Studies noticed the change in attitude. He was a pretty popular kid, despite his geekiness, and a lot of people liked him for his kindness and sense of humor. Jenny Connery, the girl who sat behind him, slid a note onto his shoulder that fell to his desk like an autumn leaf. He picked it up and read her handwriting.
You ok, honey? You're very quiet. Eddie picked up his pen and watched the teacher, waiting until the phone rang and he went to answer it before penning out an answer and throwing the note back at her. Yeah, I'm fine. Jenny read as the teacher turned around, looking straight at Eddie. "Eddie, you're wanted in the principal's office." Eddie looked around, nervous, as he rose and started to walk out of the room. "Keep it fly, Powter!" Someone cheered as he walked out, followed by a string of laughter that grew quiet soon after he shut the door. He walked quickly through the halls, Nina's words playing through his head. Never be alone, she'd said. Look at him following through with that. He stepped into the office, walking to the principals office, and opening the door. "Yes, Principal Hicks?" Principal Hicks waved him in. "Come in, Eddie, have a seat. I've heard about the incident that happened yesterday-" "What?" Eddie said, growing lightly paranoid, offput by the two strangers in the room. "How?!" "Why, your mother's...second cousin, Mr. Graves here has informed me. He is your only living relative now, isn't that correct?" Eddie sat thinking for a moment, until beads of sweat began to form on his face as he recollected his grandmother had been an orphan. There was no chance in hell these people were for real. He decided to play it cool for the moment, not attract any negative information. "I think I remember my mother talking about you, yeah." The principal nodded, happy to hear the conformation. "Well, Eddie, by law he is now your legal guardian, and he said he would like to take you to live at his house in Costa Verde, which I assume would mean you won't be attending here anymore, lad." Eddie nodded, rubbing his palms together. "I guess I don't have a choice, huh? Hey, can I go to the bathroom before I'm dismissed?" The principal passed a quick glance at the two before nodding, saying "Of course, lad, you know where the bathrooms are. Hurry up, then." Eddie smiled. "Thanks." He started to get up and walked slowly out of the office, looking both ways before turning right and vanishing from view. The principal stood, shaking his head. "Now that's queer," He said as he began walking out the office. "The men's bathroom is down the left-" He stopped as he saw Eddie bolting down the hallway, turning a corner sharply. Eddie panicked, trying to remember where Nina's class was. He had to get to Nina. Shit! Shit! Eddie remembered her class was on the other side of the school! He went the wrong way! No matter, Eddie thought as he dashed up a set of stairs. He knew this school like the back of his thumb. He could evade these two until he got to her. George growled. "Oh bloody hell. EDDIE!" He yelled as he started after the boy, knowing he was a little too old to keep up with the youth. "C'mon, Mia!" ------------------------------- Eddie bolted through the hallways, attracting surprisingly little attention. He made his way across the school on the second floor,then turning into another stairwell. He jumped a set of steps, landing hardly on the ground. He turned and found Nina's classroom and knocked on the door, catching the teacher's attention. "Umm, hello..." Eddie mouthed out through hard breaths. Eddie looked around and he had somewhat of a revelation. He was tired of running. He didn't want Nina to get hurt. He placed his hands on her cheeks and kissed her forehead. "Tell your brothers thank you for me, alright?" He was breathing heavy, and was trying to think of an escape route. "Come find me, ok? As long as you're safe, don't stop looking for me." He then turned her around and gently pushed her back into class. "Sorry for bothering you , ma'am." He then shut the door behind him and dashed down the hallway. He wasn't going to give his captors an easy time, that much was for sure. The memory of his parents filled his heart with a fire. The will to survive was the kindle. |

| Eddie burst through a locked door, finally reaching his destination. The roof. He took a few steps back away from the door, reaching the middle, before turning and facing the door. Eddie thought of his parents, and hot tears began to form in his eyes.
George walked through the door, panting. "I...have you now, kid!" He panted, catching his breath. Eddie stood firm, staring ahead at his potential captor. "I'm not letting you get me. You'll never get me for what you want." Eddie turned and bolted towards the edge of the roof. "NO!" George yelled, starting after him. But with a push of his feet, Eddie was off the side of the building, falling from George's sight. George filled with panic as he stopped on the side of the roof to see Eddie laying on the ground, unconscious. "Oh bloody hell!" George said as he turned around, running to Eddie's body. --------- A few minutes later, George called a number on his cell phone. "It's alright. He's broken his legs and a few of his ribs, but we've got Tellamy for that. He'll live. I'm waiting for Cally now, then we're off to the facility. Alright, talk to you when we get there. Bye." George shut his phone, tucking it into his pocket as he turned to look back at Eddie, tied firmly to the back seat. "Enjoy the ride, Mr. Powter. You've been quite the nuisance. |

With a strange flash, Seifer appeared in the space between Holly and Josiah. His broadsword was drawn, pointed at Josiah's neck, and Seifer stood at the ready, eyes full of hate.

"You...you monster." Seifer said through clenched teeth, forcing himself not to fly into a rage. "You killed one of my closest friends...You're responsible for the death of countless great people...Not anymore. I'm not letting you kill anymore!" Seifer used one of Old Darren's crystals to freeze time, filling the field with silence and floating orbs of snow. "This is between you and me now. I might not have it in me to kill you, but I'll sure as hell make you bleed."

They never said he was dead. They just said that he was shot. After seeing everything they can heal, I really hope he's not dead, but you never know.

I'd love to see Adam come back after pulling a Kill Bill. He was one of my favorite characters this season, by far. I hope Bob gets his comeuppance soon. Oh, and anyone notice how awesome Sylar rebecame this episode? He got back all of his cool points.

They did take most of the new characters. Alejandro, Kensei, Maya (for a second), Monica (or so we thought for half the episode), West (what's going to happen to Claire and West?! OMGZ!), almost all of the new characters are dead.

Eddie moaned, waking up strapped to a table. He thought he was dead, for at the moment he thought he was dead, but he felt himself breathing, and then soon felt the pain that came along with it. He began to growl in frustration before being shushed from the other corner.

"Now now, Eddie. We must be quiet. You wouldn't want to wake Copycat!" The soft, almost childlike voice came from a man wearing a purple robe with white scrubs underneath. He was a younger man, pale, and giddy like a schoolgirl. By "Copycat" he must have been referring to the man hooked up to life support next to him. "My name is Eddie, too, but everyone calls me Tellamy, because that's my other name!" Eddie was so confused by this man he was silent. The man seemed like a mix between Willy Wonka and Dr. Kevorkian. What the hell...? "Now, let me get right to making you feel better, hmm?" Tellamy's hands seemed to spark little white lights, terrifying Eddie. "Now now, just watch!" Said Tellamy before sprinkling the sparks onto the injured boy. Eddie closed his eyes in fear for a moment before realizing his wounds were healed. "T..that's amazing! How did you do-" Eddie started, before being interrupted. "Shh, I'll explain later. For now, sleep!" He pulled out a needle and stabbed Eddie in the chest. "Night night!" Eddie's eyes opened and he frantically tried to break free before the chemical kicked in and knocked him out once more.

Second Tier: Nathan Petrelli, Matt Parkman, Mohinder Suresh. Explanation: These characters I liked from the beginning and grew to love. Third Tier: Isaac Mendez, Peter Petrelli, The Haitian. Explanation: These characters I liked and close to love, but not there yet. Least favorite characters: Angela, Bob, Niki, Maya. Angela is a bitch, Bob has his hands too muddled in everything, Niki repeats the same damn lines over and over again (please stay dead), and Maya, ehh. Why did she get to live and not Alejandro?

Ausiello: She certainly does. And it's very similar to a power possessed by another hero, only in her case, it takes a lot less effort to get from Point A to Point B. That's from Ask Ausiello.
