Yeah, isn't that because auto-update just looks at what is in their layout portion of their profiole, and puts that in.

This is a deserving bump, which kinda proves Spartan right...although he didn't have to be so rude about it:

No doubt you've already received a flurry of letters about Ryan McCaffrey's article in OXM #62 regarding the alleged snapshot of Master Chief's face, but I thought I'd weigh in as a longtime 3D artist.
If you watch the high-def footage even casually, you can see the elements of the scenery reflected clearly in the faceplate as the Chief approaches the edge of the cliff. His so-called "eye" is actually the swirling vortex in the clouds above the whatever-it-is rising up from the ground, while his supposed "scar" is a product of the beveled edge of the faceplate. As the Chief turns his head in the close-up view, these parts of the face don't rotate as facial features would; they maintain their position in accordance with the angle of the camera's perspective. While everything happens to line up nicely in the Dashboard snapshot you printed, a frame-by-frame analysis reveals that this alignment is only a coincidence (much like the infamous "Face on Mars").
Blame the misunderstanding on Bungie for making the Chief such a compelling and mysterious character, and for making the Halo universe such a great playground.
~Edward W. Swan

Plenty of readers shared your opinion in response to our face expose, Edward, so maybe you have a point. Still, we're not totally convinced that the screenshot doesn't suggest what lies beneath the Chief's mask - or that we won't see his Casper-white visage at some point during Halo 3. Of course, we'd love to be wrong: as we're said in previous Halo articles, we hope what lies beneath that armored helmet stands unrevealed by the game's end. the Chief's way cooler as an unknown mystery figure.

Personally, I don't care. I didn't even realize it was a big deal until people said so. I was like "Huh, oh yeah, his face." I mean, what's the big deal whether or not they show it, I mean, they describe it in the books right? So we know what it looks like. Whatever.

((Gah, I'm a little behind...sorry))

When the woman requested all electronic devices, Derek didn't take off his watch, but instead reached into his pocket and took out a small disk, a prescription for the auditory devices in his watch and ear buds. The watch acted as a microphone, while the buds emitted a mental pulse that stimulated the auditory portions of the brain, causing sound.

He silently followed the group into the building. When the man takes of his shirt Derek raises his eyebrow, interested. He was intrigued by the shard implants. Being one of the voluntary enlistments, he had thought he knew what the job entailed. He was wrong.

When he heard Gaius' question, he became even more interested. Maybe the shards could cure him...

Seticus, do you talk like that in real life? I thought not.

Also, it is a lot more insulting if they just stop posting then if they tell you that they can't post anymore.

With his enhanced hearing, Derek could hear the valves opening, and the vapor rushing through them, moments before anyone else did. As the room filled with the gas, he took a deep breath, letting it fill his lungs.

The soft breeze brushed past Janice's face. She glanced at her watch. He was ten minutes late. She had arrived fifteen minutes early, so as not to miss him. She rubbed her palms together and breathed warm air onto her cold hands. Twelve minutes late.

She picked up her purse, which was rested against her seat. Rifling through it, she took out a small bottle, and popped three small white pills into her mouth. She took a a flask from her purse and washed the pills down with it. She tilted her head back and closed her eyes, letting the warmth of the vodka wash over her.

She tried to remain still, but couldn't; the anticipation was too great. She smoothed out her dress and stood. She began to pace the empty football stadium. Eighteen minutes.

She took a deep breath, cool air filling her lungs. How long had she been searching? Thirty years? Thirty-five? Forty? But now her search would be ended. She would be united with her son. It had been his fourth birthday and....

The sounds of the struggle echoed in her head. She had... and then they had....

A wave of nausea washed over her. She leaned against her cane to keep from falling. The ground seemed as if it was trying to escape from under her. She took quick, shallow breaths, her lungs screaming for oxygen. She clenched her eyes shut, forcing the world to stay still.

She stood back up, all signs of the attack gone, when a burst of wind blew past her, scooping her flowered hat from her head. She grasped at it but it was beyond her reach. It floated towards the edge of the stadium, when a gloved hand shot out and grabbed it.

Janice looked at the late arrival. He wore a black trench coat, with the collar turned up, and a black hat tilted down, hiding his face. But she knew who he was. She tentatively approached him, and flung herself into his arms.

"Oh, Thomas, it's been too long."

She looked deep into her husband's clear blue eyes. They had both aged in the decades since they had last parted ways, but there still was a connection. Thomas looked back at her coldly. He raised his arm and placed her hat back on her head, hesitated, then embraced his wife.

"Yes, it has been far too long."

"D-did you find him?"

He released his grip on her and turned away.

"Possibly, but--"

He looked around the empty stadium. They seemed to be alone alone, save for the wind.

"Come with me," He gestured towards a black car parked outside of the stadium, "I will explain on the way."

"On the way where?"

He responded to her question with a cold stare. She looked back into his eyes, trying to find something, anything, but his face was stern.

"You always were a shady one, Thomas"

He didn't react at all, but rather seemed to be carved of stone.

"Fine, you win yet again, I will come with you."

She began to walk down the stairs. Thomas lowered his arm and began to follow her. He cast one last look at the man leaning against the stands on the opposite side of the stadium before he whirled out.

Josiah sighed, pretending to give in, acting as though he had not gotten his way. In fact, it was nearly impossible for him to not get his way. There was no way this pathetic human could stop him. He had ascended past pitiful human mortality. He was unstoppable.

"Fine, I will give in to your demands."

Jeremy led Leon and Holly to the front of the base, as the helicopter descended and motioned for them to enter.

Alden stared at Edgar. The man seemed to be nearly in shock from the events.

Question: why do you need an internet browser, when you don't have the internet?

EDIT: And you obviously have internet, you posted this... So why don't you just take the files from the computer you're on now, and then put it on a CD/Floppy/Flash Drive?

"Well, I do know a lot of people on the board. Namely: Shaddow, Spartan, Max, Amadeus, Kyoku, Kyle S Kennedy (I think...that is the kyle I know right?), and Dirk Ralthar. I also know (unfortunately): XMtS, Darkness, Tanto10, and Jexim.

"As for off the board some of my best friends include my friend since kindergarden: Ryan Reynolds, friend since 4th grade: Jeremy Lo, and friend since 7th: Patrick Foley (who actually joined this board...never posted though).

"Right now there is no, as you said it special friend"

Really? Like what? The only thing I could think of needing it for, even without internet, would be if you are coding HTML or something...

And yeah, I want to know how to do this too, but to simplify it: How do you stop a background image from tiling?
