(( Yeah, I figured there was technilogical differences, but I didn't want to interfere with your image of the world...but I guess we can just make stuff up...))

As the bell rang, Derek slung his small backpack over his shoulder and approached the door. As a last minute thought, he grabbed a small wrist watch from his nightstand and put it on. As he walked down the stairs in front of his one room apartment, he placed two small buds in his ear. He tapped the screen of the watch and loud music filled his ears. He tossed his back pack into the awaiting vehicle and climbed in after it, not making eye contact with the driver.

Not sure, but I think your layout may be breaking tables slightly. Just looks weird on the bottom. And that pic on the left...pointless and kind of a waste of space...

And Alexander, scroll bars are a big deal?

EDIT: Yeah, your sig and edit are in my layout...

Not a big Dane Cook fan. But that was pretty funny.

But why isn't that show on anymore? It was good....

How about, being in a room, hanging from the ceiling/wall, being constantly fed water, so that the room slowly fills with your own urine, before you drown in it...

I am really excited about this game. I loved the first two Legends games. Got this pre-ordered and paid off for the Wii. But apparently it's out now, so here's a review:

So I'm sure some of you are aware of a "shipping mishap" that occured this week with Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I had the game on pre-order, as with all games I buy, online via EBGames. So Wednesday I'm pretty excited when UPS shows up at the door, until I open up the box to find a regular Xbox version of MUA. Argh. After calling customer support, the guy told me that this was a widespread problem that they're aware of. Apparently a lot of people were sent the wrong version of the game.

So I went out to find a 360 version, and at a couple of Gamespot/Ebgames stores I was told that none of their stores in the area had received the game. Yikes. Fortunately I was able to get the game at Best Buy, and let me tell you, it's worth it.

MUA is like a dream come true for me. I am such a huge sucker for co-op games, super heroes and fighting. And obviously Ultimate Alliance is all three. Not only that, it's all three done extremely well.

If you enjoyed X-Men Legends, you'll love MUA. They're improved so many aspects of the game. The combat system is familiar to Legends, with activating powers and such. Except now instead of just pushing the appropriate button and letting the special move fly, there are rapid fire or charge-up variations you can do.

Health and energy automatically gravitate towards the hero that needs it the most, which is a small but incredibly helpful detail.

Combat actually feels like super hero combat. Again, the devil is in the details. I play as Iron Man mostly (classic outfit) and the fighting animations are great. I love yanking a shield away from an enemy and then following with a powerful charged uppercut. Or better yet, just tossing them over a railing to their demise.

One of the things I was most impressed with, however, was the quality of the voice acting. While the dialogue is accurately over the top and cheesy for a comic book style story, it's delivered by some really talented people. It sounds natural and believable, and really draws you into the story.

It was definitely worth the wait.

See, Benja, this is why people don't believe you when you say that. Because you rub it in our faces, like it's something that you can. Whether you do or don't, you just need to shut up. Do you want this to happen again?

This is and incredible story...

I try to be a good father. Give my kids mulligans. Work nights to pay
For their text messaging. Take them to swimsuit shoots.

But compared with Dick Hoyt, I suck.

Eighty-five times he's pushed his disabled son, Rick, 26.2 miles in
Marathons. Eight times he's not only pushed him 26.2 miles in a
Wheelchair but also towed him 2.4 miles in a dinghy while swimming and
Pedaled him 112 miles in a seat on the handlebars--all in the same day.

Dick's also pulled him cross-country skiing, taken him on his back
Mountain climbing and once hauled him across the U.S. On a bike. Makes
Taking your son bowling look a little lame, right?

And what has Rick done for his father? Not much--except save his life.

This love story began in Winchester , Mass. , 43 years ago, when Rick
Was strangled by the umbilical cord during birth, leaving him
Brain-damaged and unable to control his limbs.

"He'll be a vegetable the rest of his life;'' Dick says doctors told him
And his wife, Judy, when Rick was nine months old. ``Put him in an
Institution.''

But the Hoyts weren't buying it. They noticed the way Rick's eyes
Followed them around the room. When Rick was 11 they took him to the
Engineering department at Tufts University and asked if there was
Anything to help the boy communicate. ``No way,'' Dick says he was told.
``There's nothing going on in his brain.''

"Tell him a joke,'' Dick countered. They did. Rick laughed. Turns out a
Lot was going on in his brain. Rigged up with a computer that allowed
Him to control the cursor by touching a switch with the side of his
Head, Rick was finally able to communicate. First words? ``Go Bruins!''
And after a high school classmate was paralyzed in an accident and the
School organized a charity run for him, Rick pecked out, ``Dad, I want
To do that.''

Yeah, right. How was Dick, a self-described ``porker'' who never ran
More than a mile at a time, going to push his son five miles? Still, he
Tried. ``Then it was me who was handicapped,'' Dick says. ``I was sore
For two weeks.''

That day changed Rick's life. ``Dad,'' he typed, ``when we were running,
It felt like I wasn't disabled anymore!''

And that sentence changed Dick's life. He became obsessed with giving
Rick that feeling as often as he could. He got into such hard-belly
Shape that he and Rick were ready to try the 1979 Boston Marathon.

``No way,'' Dick was told by a race official. The Hoyts weren't quite a
Single runner, and they weren't quite a wheelchair competitor. For a few
Years Dick and Rick just joined the massive field and ran anyway, then
They found a way to get into the race
Officially: In 1983 they ran another marathon so fast they made the
Qualifying time for Boston the following year.

Then somebody said, ``Hey, Dick, why not a triathlon?''

How's a guy who never learned to swim and hadn't ridden a bike since he
Was six going to haul his 110-pound kid through a triathlon? Still, Dick
Tried.

Now they've done 212 triathlons, including four grueling 15-hour
Ironmans in Hawaii . It must be a buzzkill to be a 25-year-old stud
Getting passed by an old guy towing a grown man in a dinghy, don't you
Think?

Hey, Dick, why not see how you'd do on your own? ``No way,'' he says.
Dick does it purely for ``the awesome feeling'' he gets seeing Rick with
A cantaloupe smile as they run, swim and ride together.

This year, at ages 65 and 43, Dick and Rick finished their 24th Boston
Marathon, in 5,083rd place out of more than 20,000 starters. Their best
Time? Two hours, 40 minutes in 1992--only 35 minutes off the world
Record, which, in case you don't keep track of these things, happens to
Be held by a guy who was not pushing another man in a wheelchair at the
Time.

``No question about it,'' Rick types. ``My dad is the Father of the
Century.''

And Dick got something else out of all this too. Two years ago he had a
Mild heart attack during a race. Doctors found that one of his arteries
Was 95% clogged. ``If you hadn't been in such great shape,''
One doctor told him, ``you probably would've died 15 years ago.''

So, in a way, Dick and Rick saved each other's life.

Rick, who has his own apartment (he gets home care) and works in Boston,
and Dick, retired from the military and living in Holland, Mass. ,
always find ways to be together. They give speeches around the country
and compete in some backbreaking race every weekend, including this
Father's Day.

That night, Rick will buy his dad dinner, but the thing he really wants to give him is a gift he can never buy.

``The thing I'd most like,'' Rick types, ``is that my dad sit in the
chair and I push him once.''

Finally, when Xeolad woke up he promptly grabbed his Mentos for his everyday morning breakfast. Overnight, he had become a character from his favorite anime,Tenjho Tenge! His massive breasts resembled two melons, extremely juicy. This change strangely aroused him. Then, Dragon's came out of the nipples of his breasts And ate a human. Burnination ensued when they realized that Arcanine had summoned the Soothsayer who ate some pie. It soon demaned for more food. Xeo would have none of that, so he refused to release his massive bouncing breasts, but his arreolas still squirted bacon grease. Yummy bacon grease. He wondered, "How long will I be so greasy because I smell like cookies and bees are swarming on my Dog. Damn I hope it gets hot so I can

Okay, here's the deal. I think there should be an anonymous post option. I think it would be very useful, especially in Sunset Waterfall, just because I think there are some subjects that people may be too sensitive to talk about.

Of course, there are flaws. People would definitely abuse it. It would be nice if we could just trust people to use it correctly, but I doubt we could. I have some ideas of how to prevent abuse. It could only work in Sunset. I was thinking that maybe Admins could be able to see who it is, not by default, but if they misused it, they could go and check somehow. But I think that kinda ruins the integrity of the whole idea, no offense.

But maybe we could try it out somehow...

The taxi pulled up in front of the building. He pressed his thumb on the scanner, automatically charging it to his bank account. He climbed out of the cab and turned off his music, so that he could hear, but everyone would assume to the contrary. He walked over to the group, but didn't introduce himself. They knew who he was.
