Huh, White is dead, Eric thought to himself as he laid down Jeremy on one of the two cots attached to the wall of the helicopter. Always seemed like the type to die for a cause. He went back into the cabin and slung Brad's unconscious body over his shoulder. He had stopped being surprised by anything at this point.

Henry stood outside the cabin, looking in at his daughter. Leon was right, she was better off without him.

Henry looked after his daughter. He wanted to stay behind, just to make her happy, but he was going. He couldn't let her go without him. He couldn't stand to lose her again.

Eric laid Brad down on the second stretcher as one of the soldiers came over to examine him. He saluted the bodyguard.

"Medic First Class Ryan Thomas. It's an honor to serve with you sir."

He lifted Brad's eyelid and shone a light into it.

"He's fine, just a minor concussion."

He slid a pill down Brad's throat and placed a clear strip on the cut on his head.

"The pill should wake him up soon."

He grabbed two paddles off the wall and ripped open Jeremy' shirt.
