All the above are quite good. I'm gonna have a hard time trying to tell .SK and .TP apart.

Also, you're welcome Katana.

This whole thread brings up the fact that Wal-Mart is going to be organic. If this were to really happen...

To be truthful, I can't stand Soy Milk. I had some regular, vanilla, and chocolate soy milk one time. All of it tasted so bad. I can only stand 1% and 2% milk, and barely Fat Free. Organic foods in general aren't too bad, but some of them are just terrible.

Many other boards have them, so I thought why not have one here. I wouldn't mind having one, and I'll run it myself if this gets enough votes to have one. I just want to see if enough people are willing to participate in one before I start it. Anyone feel like having one? If you'll vote at all, even if it's one vote, then put yes. If you refuse to vote, then put no. I would like some input soon.

I meant to update this last week. I saw Click, and it was quite emotional. After seeing that movie, you wouldn't want a remote that could control your universe.

I'm a little late to this thread, but I feel that I need to comment on a few things.

ANIMAL CROSSING

SUPER SMASH BROTHERS MELEE

TALES OF SYMPTHONIA

METROID PRIME

FINAL FANTASY: CRYSTAL CHRONICLES

MARIO KART: DOUBLE DASH!

The list goes on.

There are 3 great games listed up there, an okay oone, and the rest were bad in someway. I'll start with the good games.

LOZ: WW is possibly the best game for the GameCube. SSBM is also a good game, but it's better for parties and what not. Metroid Prime was a good game, but it ruined the series. Metroid was much better as a side scroller.

MKDD was an okay game. It was fun, but definetely not great.

Fire Emblem 9 was just another Fire Emblem remake. If it were so good, why didn't it sell more? I rarely heard anyone talk about the game, and when I did, they said it was bad. Animal Crossing is overrated. Tales of Symphonia wasn't that great either. I saw it have some okay sales at a Game Stop one week, but it was under Super Mario Sunshine. If a game that old and that somewhat bad sells more than a brand new game, it can't be great. As for FFCC, I'll admit to this. I did reserve it and I do still have it. I don't play it though. I played it a few times for the first week I had it. It just got too repetitive. I wish I hadn't spent my money on it.

There are some better games that you forgot, Star Fox Assault being one of them. Most of the good games for the GameCube were multiplatform games, such as Enter the Matrix and the games in the NFS series. I like some games for the GameCube, but the games made specifically for it normally suck unless they're made by Nintendo.

Originally posted by CairoiThat being said, I'm getting the Wii for 3 reasons:

1. It's not as fucking expensive as the PS3.

2. The controller idea is amazing.

3. The controller for the PS3 looks like a boomerang. I loved the PS2 controller, but this looks painful to hold.[/quote

Yet you have nothing to say about the Xbox 360. Also, I want to comment on your comments.

1) The original NES costs $600 and the games used used to costs about $70, kinda like the PS3, but people still bought it. It's not about price, it's about quality.

2) The controller idea is good, but think about how complicated it'll be. The concept is a great thing to try out, but the fact that it's infrared may cause problems gaming and it'll just make things 10 times harder. Besides, I don't like nun-chucks.

3) If you have been paying any attention to anything recently, the PS3 controller is no longer like that. They ditched the idea.

So now you have 1 reason to get the Wii, one reason why not to get the PS3, and nothing said about the Xbox 360. I have a reason why not to get the Wii though: The name sucks and it's easy to make fun of.

does the playstasion 3 font look alot like the kind they use in the spiderman movies?

The last exclusive to come out was Metroid Prime 2 I believe. Or Resident Evil 4. Then again, that's now a multiplatforming game, so I don't think that counts.

As for the PS3 font, I read something about that in a copy of Electronic Gaming Monthly. According to that, they used the same font.

As for which gaming company is the best, Rare is. Too bad no one has heard from them in a while.

Anyways, I'll probably be going with the Xbox 360 mostly because it's affordable and it has a normal means of playing, as in you don't spin the left controller in a circle in order to make something open. The Wii has a nice concept, but I just don't like it. I've only seen one game for the Wii that makes me want to get it, and that's SSBB. The Zelda game will be for the GC, so I'm just gonna get it for that. The PS3 is just too expensive, though, when you think about it, it's not that bad of a deal considering a Blu Ray Disc player costs $1000 and the PS3 is only $699. I don't have a HDTV anyways so I won't bother getting a PS3 or a Blu Ray Disc player. Really, I'm not that big of a gamer, but I like games that play with a normal controller. I do prefer gameplay in most cases, but I'm a big fan of racing and shooting games, which is a common find on the Xbox 360.

So I voted for the Xbox 360, but I doubt I'll be getting one, or any Next-Gen system. If I had the money, then I'll get one, but until then, my computer and my DS supply me with enough entertainment.

The IM List only having AIM and ICQ is fine. When I first set mine up, it only had AIM. Just some sort of IM List would be nice. I have a code already written out for 1.A2 that could quickly be edited to work with 1.92 if you want that. You can click here to see mine.

I have a reason why not to get the Wii though: The name sucks and it's easy to make fun of.
And it's people like you that make me want to go on a murderous rampage to purge the unintelligent from the world. Disliking the name is fine, but refusing to get what could be a great system solely because of the name is fucking stupid. On another note, this is the attitude that brought about my parenthesized comment earlier.

I don't just dislike it because of the name, but that did make me dislike it more. When I saw the gameplay for Mario Galaxies, it just looked bad. I haven't seen any game that's worth getting the Wii for besides SSBB. It doesn't appeal to me at all.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa... Who gave you that idea? A remake? Sure, but you are way off your information.

Fire Emblem 9 wasn't a remake from any game.

That's what they say about MegaMan. After a while the game gets repetitive. Now Fire Emblem isn't remade every season, but still, when your game reaches a number beyond 10, it's gonna seem repetitive. Games like Mario Party, MegaMan, etc. all have too many games out. Fire Emblem is one of those games too me. Just my opinion.

I have no problem running it myself. I'm gonna wait for a few more people to vote yes before we actually start. 5 people willing to vote isn't enough. When some more people vote yes, I'll start it.

Hi, my name is SquareEnix. I specialize in releasing vastly similar games year after year with a slightly different story, improved graphics, and only minimal changes to the actual gameplay.

And for that matter, how many RTS games are similar again..?

This is one reason why I've come to dislike Video Games. There are just too many remakes with very little improvement/change. It's fine if you remake the game with big differences and less than every year. But companies like Square Enix and Capcom are making it seem like they having nothing else to put out there. I haven't seen any new ideas from them in a while. No, remakes don't count as new ideas.

My friend rented this game one day and we were playing it for who knows how long. It's a really fun game and it's pretty hard at some points. If it's only $5, it's definetely worth the buy.

I have nothing better to do. I don't actually have to like Video Games a lot in order to have some sort of comment on them do I? I don't dislike Video Games altogether, just the way they're going. They used to be better.

I do like the Xbox 360 though for some odd reason, considering I didn't really like the original Xbox that much. Maybe it was the fact that I saw more games I wanted for it than I did for any of the other systems.

Is that enough for you?

Let me note that my statement didn't mean I hate modern day gaming. I still like some of it and have some comments on it. Let me rephase everything I've said into one idea.

Games aren't as good as they have used to be and I do dislike how most things are, but I still enjoy some of it and I still pay attention to a lot of the new things going on with gaming.

If that isn't enough, then I don't really know how else to say it.

Some of you may think they gave him the game because they think he's stupid, but I don't think that is the main reason. You wanna know why? It's because THAT GAME IS FUN. I thought that game was stupid until I actually played it. I lost some 6 hours playing those Sudoku puzzles. I only played it a few times because it was my brothers game. What would be funny if he does tell Nintendo what is Brain Age is and it's something believable like 102 or they'll be stumped when he says 22.

I wouldn't mind seeing this. I use it on my board too. It's a pretty easy setup if you know what you are doing. I find it very useful so I'm voting yes.
