| OK, so I borrowed "The Black Cauldron" from the library. Yep, it's definitely an animated fantasy from the '80s. It's soooooooo slow.
Come on, Disney. Seriously? It's kind of funny, though, with how many gags and stylistic things were lifted out and used for later movies. Not shocked that this sort of thing scared Disney into ending their dark ages and beginning the Disney Renaissance. In many senses the hairy guy is Gollum. I do have to say, Eilonwy is pretty strong for a pre-Disney Renaissance princess. Unfortunately she's not well-known enough to be a part of the Disney's "princess mythology" which Andy Mooney cooked up in 2000 when he left Nike and came to Disney to launch the Princess franchise. |

| You are actually unable to delete your sent PMs as everyone is only able to delete the PMs they received.
The only way that it would disappear is if the person whom you sent the PM to will delete it, and thus it will disappear from not only their received, but your list of sent PMs. |

| I've never read the books. I actually only found out that it was an adaptation when my boyfriend was looking up the movie on Wikipedia when we started watching it.
I just finished "Wall-E," which we also took out from the library as we hadn't seen it yet. Yeah, I definitely loved it much more than "Black Cauldron." It's the simple things that make it much more enjoyable. You really don't need words to understand and feel. For other Disney movies we haven't seen we still need to watch "Bolt," "Cars," and of course, "Tangled" and "Tron Legacy." |

| I've only had one pulled and it was because it was already above the gums and it was making it painful to open my mouth. My dentist injected the area and then pulled it with the whole affair being less than 15 minutes.
Sucks because I've gotta wait for this painful one to come up more before he can pull that one too. |

| I see it in much the same way most people see race these days. You have an African-American man in your unit, you don't go, "Wow, awesome! A black man! Suh-weet!!" You just don't think about it, therefore you don't care and race is not a high priority to you so long as everyone's putting in their all alongside you.
And that's how the majority of those wanting to do away with 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' probably see it -- that you just shouldn't care what a person's sexual preference is, along with what color their skin is what god they pray to (or don't). But in the sense that you mean, yes, they should stick up for the rights of these downtrodden to be represented. | Looks like I might be heading Vegas for a couple days after all.
Yesterday when I mentioned to my grandmother that I would drive her out she started throwing a fit about not wanting to go even though she had spent the day before moping about not getting to go. I guess my parents are up for the trip now. Well, I can reconnect with some friends at there at least. |

Going through "Ooku" Volume 3 now, but I might end up just jumping back into "Transmetropolitan." I can't remember how much of it I had read before. I think the first two volumes. At the same time I'm re-reading "Walking Dead," though I've only got the first three volumes. God, it's going to suck trying to buy the others. It used to be common to find it in the 50% bins at conventions, but with the TV show out, I'm sure everyone's buying it up. |

| I think I'm shell-shocked from school. I've actually felt guilty about doing nothing or having fun because I kept thinking something was due tomorrow that I should really be working on. No joke. I'm in-fucking-sane.
I've got a lighter load (in theory) next semester. Taking the capstone class for American studies major -- where I have to propose and conduct a study -- and the capstone class for my journalism major -- my internship with a magazine. And, apparently just for fun since someone in admissions and records beefed up my transcript, I'm taking a class on Asians in film. |

| REALLY hard to say since there are so many graphic novels that have me pause in complete awe and rethink comics and stories, in general.
I think I'll go with Brad Warner for his book "Hardcore Zen: Punk Rock, Monster Movies, and the Truth about Reality" and Thich Nhat Hanh for "The Heart of Understanding." I'm not a Buddhist or a Taoist for that matter, but they've shown me a new philosophy by which to lead my life. We really do lead a life of "If onlys" and we aren't happy because we keep telling ourselves that things will be better "if only" we had a little more and it never ends, so you get all of these rock stars and celebrities doing drugs and killing themselves because they have all this fame and fortune and are still not happy. And there's SO MUCH more to learn from these books. Have you ever been looking forward to a movie for a really long time, you see it, and were royally disappointed?
