I have a few friends who want to drag me out to Sakuracon and crossplay me as a Vocaloid -- not sure if I'm up to doing that as my FIRST cosplay, however.

I used to be heavy in to anime... living, sleeping, and breathing it. I usually didn't care about the quality of it or the voice acting or any of that. Now I'm kind of a cynical bastard and I'm really picky about what I watch. The same template can be applied to video games and movies in most regards.

It's the same way with WoW... when I had my default UI, I only mapped probably 3 buttons to other keys (that were otherwise somewhat useless, like F, G, and Z) and a few on my mouse... now I use Shift+Spacebar to get on my mount, shift+1-5 for totems/stances/stealth/pets/etc, I have F, G, and Z still mapped, I hit V and B with my thumb, I have Shift+ variants of all of those... It made my game a LOT easier, especially PvP. I can see how that would translate over to Starcraft relatively easily.
