OMFG OMFG OMFG i was sooooo pissed off that i couldn't log in for the past week. I thought i was retarded or something, because i tried every single PW i have in existance. I even checked all my email accounts to search for a confirmation email with a PW or something.

To my surprise, there wasn't one? Xeogaming didn't send out an email?

I tried searching for the "i can't remember my pw" button, but i couldn't find it either it was so annoying =/

I'm pretty sure before i made my post, that i did a Yahoo! search, and Ron Paul is a republician

Anywho...

I was watching the news last night, and it was talking about Obama's book and biography. The whole muslim thing was just a phase in his life in college. He said during those rallies, he felt out of place, and he really didn't know enough about the issues, except that he was black. It felt fake to him. He transfered from the college two years later. So w/e.

So i was watching SiCKO today at home from my netflix account, as part of HW. It was pretty interesting. I dunno if i like or dislike Michael Moore, but it was interesting nonetheless.

Myself, I am currently uninsured. I went to the dentist two weeks ago to fix two fillings and it cost me $100.

For those unfamilar with SiCKO: http://tv-links.cc/movie/Michael-Moores-Sicko.htm

So yeah, you'll have to pay more taxes, but is it worth it?

Canada, the UK, Cuba, and France are mentioned in the movie.

Basically Universal Health Care would be free for all citizens, and non-citizens alike, just like Constitutional Rights. Sounds nice actually.

He compares health care with things which are "free" like, the library, US postal services, and the fire and police services. Taxes provide for them, why not health care?

Yeah I started working at the beach about a month ago. My third day into it, i come home and my face is dry up and my skin peeling. I forgot to wear sunscreen. Odd thing is, i'm in a protected booth the entire time. No contact with the sun whatsoever. Anyways, 3 days worth of sun equals 3 weeks of lotion to repair my face.

PS someone in this forum also works at the same place i do, but doesnt realize it =P

I would say that being unnamed is only good when you're asking personal questions, and not wanting people you know IRL to find out. Or to speak out politically. However, there are far too many people who have too much time on their hands. Many of these individuals/groups, whom we all know, and will go un-nammed, use it to find information on others and bully them. I have witnessed this while on a webcam chat on a big website. We were simply chatting, and her phone rings. Some Ex online friend called, made demands, and she was in tears. Some guy befriended a teenanger, got her information, and later used it to abuse the friendship.

It's too common that many of us older teenager, or adults know not to give out personal information to strangers. However, younger teens are out there trying to make sincere friendships. This group of bullies make it their job to pretend to be friends, and to be "Heroed." Hero-ed, is an act of getting a girl to flash, and posting it and bragging about it. If the girl no longer does it, he uses her private info, threatens to post it online and get her into trouble. If she resists, the group attacks with phone calls to the house, letters to their teacher, ect.

While being unknown is great for someone who is trying to make changes to policies, it hasn't been used for good, at least where i've been.

I dunno who you are, but congrats. The BIGGEST step to moving forward is realizing why you were where you were. Most of the time, it's due to the people that you hang out with. The fact that you realized this, and moved on means you are better than them. So many times I've been trying to get people to realize that their friends are worthless people who have no goals in life, and are content with bringing others down so they feel good about their life. congrats

Maybe you should talk to him about the options you'll have without the military, then the benifits of joining the military.

I think most of it stems from being away from you and what not. The basic training alone is months and months and months. Active duty entails being away.

I think he's more afraid of losing face if anything. Like if you were to be stationed somewhere, he'll have to ride your coattails or something and leave his life behind.

All in all, the only REAL way to get the most out of the military is by joining the ROTC programs at the 4 year colleges. You automatically come out as an officer, and you get a college degree without being away from home, for free. WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN. what more can you ask?

I'm having issues finding myself in life.

For example, for some ODD reason, I find that there's really only two things you can do. Be really outgoing and either go out, get drunk, and go clubbing. Or be a geek and stay at home to either watch tv, do nothing, hang out with friends and play games, or some other activity at home.

I for one, do not want to go clubbing or hang out at bars. I also do not want to stay home and be a geek.

What the heck do REGULAR people do? I don't consider a hobby like bowling league, or dance classes, or other things that force you to be somewhere at a certain time as an inbetween.

Any help?

That's kinda my point. You just stated the only two things i can think of. Staying at home/hanging out with friends at home. Going out, like movies and things like that are cliche.

I'm trying to figure out an activity that goes beyond hanging out, or bar/club hopping.

Yeah, basically if you can't get into a 4 year school, the 2 year ones will automatically take you. You get a whole clean slate.

Even if you still get a 2.0 gpa with the clean slate, if you have enough units to transfer, they'll still take you, provided you dont go into one of those special majors like nursing or something that's too full.

But if school isn't your thing, then why bother? Go get that apprenticeship or whatever and earn that C average paycheck the rest of your life =/

Honestly, the only real way to make it in this world nowadays is with a 4 year degree.

1. Why do you have over due bills? Be more responsible.
2. If you're in a financial jam, now's not the time to have guests over. That person should have arranged their own living quarters, BEFORE coming over. You shouldn't have to put up with that kinda crap.
3. It's your house, so do something about it. You're an adult now, so you're allowed to yell at people. Take reign of your own affairs, and stay strong.

I really don't know why there's still a big discussion about big foot. As I recall a couple years ago, when the guy who originally caught this footage died, it was revealed by his son that it was all fake. The kid showed everyone how his dad made the fake footprints and what not, and even his personal diary. So what's w/ the hub-bub?
