Hm... that part does need some tweaking, it looks a little awkward, thanks for pointing it out. Ha, this part was written to kick it off, and the ideas and thoughts of the man don't play into the story until far later on. The idea that he finds discomfort in certain sounds and feelings play a very important role later on. I'll post two more paragraphs. They're long, so maybe someone could tell me if I should break them up a bit more. The story continues in one direction, so this is a continuation of the last post.

---------------------

The militia had taught him to be wary of his backdrop. Alertness was the key for getting around a street corner. Sadly enough, each corner held some sort of sin. That was the city, at least. Where the militia had taken him had been much different. Outside city lines, away from the defensive wall of people and steel, there lay nothingness, a land waiting to be turned upside-down, sifted for its buried goods from earlier years. Even along the banks of the land・s single river was there dust; dry, these lands only seemed live due to the settlements found every so often, governed by convicts and bandits from the major cities. As straight as the river, the railroad lay along the banks, the one boundary separating the northern part of the country from the south. Upon the very most western point, running north and south were the lands beaches, each different depending on where one stood. At the western tip was Station One, the first docking bay for the train, suitably named Big River for the route it took along the rivers edge. The guards upon the train didn・t mind where you got off; one could jump train whenever needed, leaving be it by choice or force. To the east the train went, through Station Two halfway along the countryside, and then to the third station, breaking the name pattern, the country・s largest city of Saint Damten. Beyond Saint Damten lay a mountain range, and entire world beyond, so indescribably vast that a fog shrouded the denizens of this land from going any further. South and north of the river was home to many more natural monuments, but was mostly dried lands, cracked and sun toughened. The man had visited up to the mountains, through these deserts and to all the beaches, riding the train and boating down the river, with one trip on motorcycle (difficult due to the lack of road), one on horseback, and many on foot. Each time trouble brewed, each time he and the other trainees foxed their way out of whatever happened. He was issued a gun, but hadn・t ever found any need to draw it. An army-issue Billy-club was all he needed to intimidate his foe; looked upon as more of a medallion than weapon, it never broke a bone, not once during any engagements, nor needed to be raised. Keeping it at his side made him feel some form of authority; this certain feeling could enforce the most lethal of arms within the city.

He guarded Station One for a year, felt older than how he should have at 23, and took vacation whenever he wanted. An officer of the law, he felt it unfulfilling when he saw the bounties on the posters, and he was not able to give chase. Everyone knew they had left for the wastelands; none were left in the city for him to go after. And thus the day came, he ran to the beach with the pale hand in his, and began to dance. He felt comfortable, attractive even, the way he presented himself. A simple suit, bought cheap in the city, of black with grey pinstripes, with a red tie neatly beneath his closed jacket. Short, cleated, army issue boots were all he needed on his feet. As for his head, he followed the trend of all men and tipped a black bowler cap above his oddly colored, red-brown hair. Side-whiskers gracefully grew the same color down his pale, almost deathly white cheek. With all the traveling, one would expect a darker tone, but his skin stayed pale, a possible genetic, hereditary issue. His face was peculiarly feminine, with red cheeks, lips, and eyes fair, and yet dark. With his sleeves pushed up, he ran downwards to the sea, along the beach with a close friend met on his travels. She too held the same complexion to her face, with eyes and lips that matched the man. Her black hair tumbled loosely, never up, but free and curling just below her shoulders. Sand built up on the hem of her simple white dress before their stop. The run didn・t take much out of them, as they looked to the sea and began to dance. Simple, innocent fun, they forgot about the troubles in the city and focused on where and when they were.

I chose Ephraims path. This is the only game I've played in so long, I'm so addicted to it.

My favorite characters are Artur and... dare I say it...

dare I?

DO YOU DARE ME?

Moulder. THATS RIGHT I SAID MOULDER. Because how many other characters in Fire Emblem look like possible sex offenders (note: his class is PRIEST)?

I liked Orson a lot too for some reason, and I liked Garcia.

Garcia looks like Jet, and Kyle looks like Spike from Cowboy Bebop.

Valter was fuckin' scary at first, but when you fought him you were like "... WTF? More like wyvern gaylord". Maybe my guys were too jacked up from Tower of Valni battles...

Tethys, Gerik, and Joshua were also pretty cool.

I adore the fact that people, before this show came out, were all "UGH RAP BLOWS ITS SO DUMB LOLZORS METALROCKCORE4EVA" and now that its out theyr'e all "Sup G? Home floppy on the good rock, ya mean?" this seriously happened! My cousin likes rap now because this show "coolified" it for him.

Its such a crappy play on words. I hate it. I wish Coke would just come out and be like:

"Buy our drink. It costs a reasonable amount of money. And a lot of people like it. We put the nutrition facts on each can to show if its good for your diet or not so... uh. Yeah. Go buy some or something..."

That would make a better song.

I'm not gonna be around very much for a few weeks. I didn't know where else to put this, but I had to put it somewhere, I guess. I've some stuff that needs to be settled without distraction... which includes boards, AIM, and even my phone. Worry not - you'll see your very favorite poster back on the board in a couple of weeks. So until I get back, I'll see Xeogaming and its members when I see em.

I'm out!

Back for the weekend, gone for another two weeks afterwards (probably).

That week was... enlightening? Whatever it was, I've gotta go back to it in about 72 hours. So I'll be kicking around here till then.

See you all round the board. I'll message when I'll leave again.

Megas man. Samurai Jack is all uptight and has always seemed awkward. I wish the director would pay more attention to Dexters Lab and stuff like that; those ones were always so awesome. Megas is all "Yo. I'm a giant robot, with a story that ties perfectly into the plot, which is just the fact that I like to mess stuff up. And I don't give a crap. I stepped on your mom and I didn't think twice about it. I blew up your apartment and nobody can do a thing because I'm a sweet robot. You're whole family is dead, your crying about it, but crying won't get you a giant robot like me, crybaby.".

Megas is better, hands down. When the pilot came out, the commerical for it had the guy going "I'm just a guy from Jersey, okay?" and for some bizarre reason that was the one phrase that was on my cousins tongue for an entire summer. And it still comes up. I havn't seen this show in so long! I wanna watch it!

How do you shoot a gun with a broken finger...?

Ahaha, I'm just kidding around. Sucks about the finger though, really. I haven't broken anything, but I've torn some stuff, and THAT was a bitch. It healed quick, but it was over Christmas vacation so I was complaining day in and day out about it. Then on Christmas Santa came and was all "Yo. My elves will heal that right up for you. Ya fuckin' crybaby." and I was all "What the HELL? YOU'RE REAL?". So Christmas was saved.

Hopefully someone will save you're Christmas, Beo! I mean finger. If the broken finger isn't on the hand that you write with, send Santa a letter.

I've got a rich story.

One night, I was in bed. As I was many, many times before. So I'm sleeping... and I stand up, and my brother is watching me from the top bunk. He asked me where I was going and I said "bathroom". I sleepwalk AND sleeptalk. So anyways, I walk down the hall (not remembering this, but this is what I've been told) and I go to open and door.

So the scene changes to my mom waking up in the middle of a thunderstorm. She hears a little bit of rain, rather loud and coming from outside her bedroom door, as if its pattering on her door. Then she hears a big THUD. Thunder? She opened the door and it was soaked in piss, as was I in a puddle on the ground, still snoozing.

Me and my brother still sleep talk. One night I was like "pittypottypooty... knife, condom, KNIFE, flinstone." I am not fuckin kidding. Then my brother says REALLY bizarre things, like names of starwars characters. Or words that sound like Starwars characters at least.

We sleep in the most exciting way we can.

Lice sucks dude, and lets face it, people stay away from you like your some sort of terrible abonimation. It'll leave quick though, I got it in fourth grade and never told anyone. I just told a few people when it somehow came up in conversation and they were all "YECCHHH YOU'RE GROSS" and I was all "Fucker I didn't want lice. Nobody wants lice. YOU THINK I'M GROSS BECAUSE I HAD LICE TEN SEVEN YEARS AGO AND THEY DIED SEVEN YEARS AGO" So then I poopped a cap in there ass.

But yes. Lice sucks dude. Shouldn't feel like its your fault; its those little freeloading bastards on your scalp. So if anyone calls you a filthy monkey child or a dirt baby, remember: You have creatures in your hair... and so could they, if you know what to do...

or say "I'm going to the zoo to save a monkey from starvation." That'll freak they're asses out.

I dunno... I thought Sniper Wolf from MGS was easy

I thought Psycho Mantis was hard because of the controller swap thing. I wanted to see another fight with Revolver Ocelot though. He was a little too easy... maybe I should go rent Sons of Liberty or something.

Hands down the hardest boss I ever fought was Abyssion from Tales of Symphonia. I still can't beat him! He's impossible!

And the Dragon from FE was quite the bitch too.

Wow these stories are enthralling. Wow.... I've one.

So one time I was at a carpet store, and the manager came up to me and asked me if I was looking for something. I told him I was just browsing and he said okay. Then I left the store.
