Has it really been THAT long?

And I still only have 700 something posts? Thats sad...

I used to be part of other Acmlm boards. I happened to click the Forum Affliates scrollbar one day out of boredom, and this place seemed to be the most interesting at that point in time. And still is! This is the only board I post on now. All the others crapped out or were too inactive.

Spoiler:
BTW... I came for the posting. I stayed for the Xeoland.

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY.

Expect one up sometime Sunday. Friday = hardcore work up the butt with the pictures. I definetly didn't realize how much work it took simply to draw, outline, and color it. And scan it. And link all the four scanned pictures together. The easy part is the computer and set up stuff... that'll all take me just a half hour probably. but before I do that I still have to color the rest and actually draw two of the frames over again (they look really shitty. And when I say shitty... I mean shitty.)

I would be saying SATURDAYx3 but I'll be out from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M..

But if I don't get this comic up by Sunday, I say this. BAN ME! Yes, I'm that confident that it'll be up by then.

DAMMIT. I still have to do drawings for three other people. Faaaaaack!!! But this thing is my main priority at the moment.

Yeayuh. I like the comic at least. I think its funny... in its own ways.

Its one of the Hall of Fame YTMND's now. And it deserves that place, its friggin' awesome. Whoever got the Cosby voice to match up with the music must be pretty talented.

Josiah seemingly danced towards Sila. He was unaffected by the stench eminating from his massive enemy. That's because he had no nose. He severed it long ago as to add to his skeletal appearance. Children were scared of skeletons. Children always had the tastiest meat on their bones.

Josiah obviously hadn't eaten much of anything over quite a period of time. His pale, bone thin body seemingly had no muscle or fat on it. He was an entire head shorter than his enemy - even when Sila was slouching. His body was covered in loose white folds of cloth that wrapped around his legs, chest, and arms, making him look partially mummified. The skin around his skull looked tight and pulled back; his eyes were wide, he loooked as if he had no lips so his face was in a constant, skeletal grin. The only hair from his head hung around in a horseshoe shaped, stopping at his chin, grey, leaving only the top bald.

He carried a rod that was made of sharpened bone. A product of his weapon, Eve, a magically enfused bone that was once part of his ribcage. It didn't look special at the moment; it was meant for the old man to use it as more of a walking stick. But it would soon change.

He looked at Sila under the double suns.

"Boo!"

Josiah held the bone rod out before him as Sila made his dash forward. Timing it right, he was able to hold the man back, though it didn't seem to do any harm. Holding him at bay, the staff wobbled as Josiah's feet skid backwards in the dirt. Even with his magic on his side, he was still much smaller than Sila. The staff begain to fracture a bit; Josiah made a last ditch effort to get out of this by sending a flurry of bone shards from his right hand toward his enemy's face.

Greenstick - Josiah emits a hail of small, sharpened shards of bone from the palm of his hand in order to attack his enemy. They don't do any sort of major damage, but enough of the attack can, very slowly, whittle an enemy down.

(ooc: Whoops... heh heh, I see what you meant there. My bad.)

IC:

Josiah held the bone spear Adam in his left hand. The spear was an extension from a bone in his left palm; it was another natural part of his body. clenching his fist, he initiated his magic from a pendant he wore around his neck, the Eve Pendant, in order to form the weapon into a shield of bone. Sila's hands met with the shield and not Josiah's heart. He made an agile sideways jump, still holding the shield as not to be hit if Sila followed his movements. Technically there was no way to drop his shield unless his forearm was to be severed; the shield was an extension of his own bone, forming from his knuckles when he made a fist. He unclenched his hand when he had a fair distance from Sila and thought about his next plan of action, the Adam bone becoming a short baton.

Adam Baton - a rib taken from Josiah and placed into his forearm, infused with a magic that allows Josiah to form the bone into a variety of weapons or tools. The weapons that are made come from his palm, their handles usually infused with the bones found there. Like any bone though, the weapons can be broken, and that certain weapon can no longer be used for the remainder of the battle.

Eve Pendant - (just for a brief explaination) The Eve Pendant is what actually allows Josiah to move with agility at his old age. The second rib from Josiah was turned into an amulet that allows permanent spells to be used by its wearer. This pendant keeps a constant flow of magic going in his system. If it is taken away, many things can happen. He can no longer move as well, nor can he use spells such as Greenstick. The use of changing Adam's shape is limited to the shield and Baton. Though it'd seem very tactical to get the pendant off of him, it is far more difficult than simply knocking it off or cutting its cord. The bone the pendant is made from has a magnetic sort of connection with the bones from Josiahs body, making it difficult for the bone to stray far.

Having a step mother from Australia can be pretty cool. Having one that brings her customs over is even cooler.

Having one that tries to make you eat Vegemite is SICK AND TWISTED.

I don't think Vegemite is palatable to anyone that isn't from the land down under. Vegemite tastes a little like a different kind of spreadable substance from a different kind of "land down under".

But do you know what the worst is?

Australian Roulette.

Four crackers. Three have Nutella on them (and admit it, everyone loves Nutella) but one has Vegemite. Only to an Australian is the loser the winner.

If you've never had Vegemite, try this. Melt some chocolate. Than mix in every kind of Ramen Noodle mix you have. Spice it up with a little bit of urine. Then have a family of four barf into the one by one after eating four month old Chinese takeout. Stir that in and enjoy.

Josiah sits down on a rock.

OOC: Hey. I haven't responded in a long, long time, and by now I'm officially losing, but could you hear me out? I've been sick all week (Like "You gotta stay home for three days and you can't move your feet" said the Doctor). - I have exams all this week and next and to be honest, as I told Shaddow, sim battling isn't the first thing on my mind right now. Is it too late to ask that our battle gets postponed? If it is I really could care less, but it WOULD be appreciated if it could be.

Okay, I'll take all of your ideas and opinions about the military seriously once you've actually been in it. If that is the case, than I sure as hell am not one to make any opinions about this but I can say this...

My father, being a Vietnam veteran with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, can indeed see some sort of light in what people are doing. Sounds sick right? But you know whats REALLY fucked up? Hiding in the jungle for two years, transferring to an American air base with Vietcong tunnels underneath and missile strikes as common as dirt, all topped off with the fact that, once your tour of duty is over, they tell you they have to keep you for three more months because all the soldiers that are coming over are dead. And then they tack on another three months. And then they tack on ANOTHER three months. And then they send you home because you are so fucked up that they're afraid you're gonna kill everyone and yourself.

So now, think about how stressed those soldiers are. They are going through the same sort of treatment or even worse over there (note, there are quite a lot of similarities to this war and Vietnam) Do you think they really care about how they look or what they're doing? Those photos could never have been intended for the public to see - its like finding your mom and dads secret porn stash; your not supposed to see it, but you know its happened and you're sickened by it. I would imagine that raping a woman to these soldiers is just as, well, militant, as every other act they do. As twisted and sick as it looks in our eyes, this is the sort of thing that diverts us from the REAL horrors of war. Truth/Serum brought up a good point, women are raped all the time in America, but now, because our soldiers who have EVERY RIGHT to be fucked up in any and all ways are doing it, it's a smear on our honor?

The military has no mind for other people's lives; it is a disgusting machine where things such as rape and taking prisoner is just a small gear in the system. It works to better those who aren't fighting, those who are comfortable in their armchairs and their radios addressing the nation about its newest casulties in such a casual manner. God I sound like such a dumb protester type but its what my views are! I think the soldiers SHOULD be allowed to induldge themselves in any and all lewd or terrible acts; they're nothing more than beasts with guns, and each one should and will be honored no matter what they do. As I said before, its gross in our eyes? Put yourselves in their shoes and tell me if you give a damn about what you're momma would think if she saw you doing what you are doing. She already knows you're killing people, so what's a little rape?

Killing a comrade is messed up; your country forcing you to kill is even worse, but humans being humans in a time of confusion and strife is necessery for anyone to get out of this mess.

I hope I don't disgust anyone; I think my views are the most supportive of the troops, I think that simply saying "YO GO TROOPZ" is futile if you don't understand what exactly they are doing. They're all INCREDIBLY brave men, who deserve every ounce of credit they earned; it is the ones who put them in the terrible positions they are in that will die and rot painfully in hell. Imagine doing what they do everyday. I can... barely. Nothing is better than first hand experience, and if you've got someone sane enough that came back from any war to tell you about all the terrible stuff they had to do, you wouldn't hold it against anyone if they did something bad back then.

Remember how the phrase goes, kids: ALL'S FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR.

Oooookay. I have no idea if that was supposed to offend me or not (I really don't understand when someone is being sarcastic or not on a board). So Sajin, you did not upset me, you are just confusing me a little bit . So I'm just gonna step outta here before I say anything more to get anyone angry (I take it I gotta expect anger...). And I will add that I don't think I properly stated my stance on this, cause it seems like nobody, through that response or any IM's, have gotten the point of what I said. It DID have a point that I thought was resonable, but I can see where it would look otherwise...

***Now this has almost nothing to do with the topic at hand but I think its a good point to bring up; if you think you've lost, if you've decided already that everyone around you won't agree with a thing you said... don't even bother fighting. Its kind of pitiful, especially on a board, and especially when it gets down to a personal level, which I can tell it will VERY shortly if I go on. So for future references, if you can predict a fight between you and another membert, be mature and step down, okay? We get too many threads that start from little things people have said and escalate into bullshit nobody on here likes reading. Say to yourself, as I am saying to myself at this exact moment "Okay, okay! I'm a wimp. I give up. I'm wrong in your eyes and my opinion means nothing if it offends you, so it makes no sense to continue. I lose, I gotta go, goodbye." I'm sure you'd rather here that than "OH YEAH? WELL *&(^&$$^$^##@* YOU AND YOUR *(*^%%# IDEALS"... like I could say.***

Nevertheless, resume on topic.

All this week waking up has been total hell for me. My entire body aches like crazy and immediatly when I put my feet to the ground I fall back into bed cause it hurts so much. But thats just as of late. NORMALLY I wake up and go "I'm late? Kind of? I will be late? Well... okay..." I just deal with whatever comes in the morning that way. If I'm late, I'm late, its something I'll have to deal with. It's either that or "What the hell happened to the sun?" and I realize I'm waking up at like, 3:30 and am relieved to have that extra three hours of sleep.
