As much as Iron Maiden rocks, that was an incredibump. Gonna have to close it down. Get out; Be Quick or Be Dead about it!

I think that the span of time between your post and the last was wider than any screen I've ever seen. The post is appreciated, but a bump. Sorry, but I gotta close.

I just rented Return to Casle Wolfenstein. I didn't like it so I came online. Just in time to find this bumped thread. Check out the rules NUKLEARKNIGHT; I've had to close 3 threads because of your bumps. You only have a few posts, so you must not be around here much, so you gotta make sure you only post in threads that are recently made. I'd say that if it is more than a month old, don't bother posting, make a new thread if you really need to. But just make sure you do this in the future, okay? Sorry again man, I gotta close.

"That spear..." Blank looked upon it as his dark half quivered within his body, half from anticipation for the battle, half for fear of the evil defeating weapon in his opponents hands. It could do nothing but physical injury so long as he kept himself calm and in balance.

The plains were now blanketed in virgin snow. They were unmoved, clean, covering the entire field. It was almost a shame when Blank made his first bound towards his enemy; the beaten path where his feet were was uncovered after his toes hurled the powder back.

The scenerio was in his favor; if he needed, he could Transit through the falling snow to make a quick escape. Too much damage to his body could prove incredibly dangerous. The odds were that something was on the side of his opponent too. He couldn't tell what. This "Seticus" seemed a gentle musician - Blank almost hesitated fighting someone that seemed more docile than himself. Possibly Seticus, too, had a struggle of sorts that made him that way.

Blank bounded above Seticus and slid far behind, his body low to the ground, legs spread far and with one arm balancing himself from the fall, the other with the Silver blade at his side. After much sliding on the snow, Blank caught some sort of friction against the ground and made his first true lunge at Seticus, his hollow, feminen voice not muttering a word or a breath beneath his mask.

take the psi-q psychic test yourself

Its what I expected to get. I'm not a psychic, but there are some strange things that definetly happen sometimes to me. Things falling down for no reason, deja vu. I get wicked deja vu all the time, to the point where I get a bit frightened.

That Double Pack is gonna kick so much ass, so hopefully it'll make up for the sheer polly-wolly crapiness of CoD. Lament of Innocence was barely tolerable, I would imagine that they would learn from their mistakes. I mean, Dawn of Sorrow just came out and that was an awesome game. Its like it wasn't even made by the same people.

I'd get Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow. Its more of an action/adventure game, with slight RPG elements. And once you beat it, it serves as an awesome stress-defeating beat-em-up kind of game.

Posted on 01-01-06 11:05 PM, in Discussion for Fragmented Faith (a soon-to-be-made RP) Link
Hello. So, soon I'll be making my first RP on this board, and I was told that an informative thread about the coming story would be a good idea for a few reasons; to sign up for participation, to discuss the story and clarify any confusions, to create and post info about your characters, and anything else you see fit for talking about here.

So lets get down to business!

If you haven't already read about my idea for this RP in http://board.xeogaming.net/thread.php?id=6366 < that thread, I'll put a brief overview right here.

SYNOPSIS: Mankind has found that God is a being from another world that has the ability to greatly influence and take over the minds of lesser beings. In the near future, humans find God's body floating in the ether above Earth, decaying and dying, which explains the absence of Biblical-esque miracles in the past centuries, as this creature is merely existing and not able to work due to atrophy from being suspended in space for so long. The Angels and Prophets of history and religion are simply fragments of this "Creature God", offspring of a creature who was too powerful to face its specimens below. The Creature God came to Earth to use it as a sort of terrarium for scientific tests its own race would perform, but its sheer presence was enough to destroy a man's molecular structure. A glimpse at one of the Fragments made men immediatly under control of The Creature God. With this ability, the being spread its "holy word" across the globe, warping man's view on life to be what he thought it should. Whenever man did something that dissagreed with The Creature God's word, he was shown the wrath of God - the presence of the Creature. But, God grew old and decrepit, and man lived on, having war after war, murder after murder, rape after rape, until the world was beyond any control even he had. After the growth of space travel and technology, Man found God in the skies, as stated before. It was closer than it ever had been before; mankind needed to do something in order to keep this massive being from plummeting into the planet. So, taking extremly drastic measures, it was agreed upon that this monster was to be destroyed, despite the outcries from the conservative public. Everyone knew it was god; they knew its plans of using the human race as a test subject. Latin was the language used in the Holy Land because it was in fact that same words used by God. This ended up being true. Scriptures were found among the lifeless body of God when men went into space to investigate for the first time. Copies of holy scriptures native to earth, and then more that described the motives of the Creature God, all in Latin. That was enough to prove to man that God existed and was dead. In order to escape the effects of the Creature God's presence while in space, man made machines were sent to retreive these scriptures. Also, because all evidence was photographed, the people of Earth could view the creature, but its actual effects did not take effect.

When the Creature God took its plummet, man did everything in his power to keep it from coming down. The only option was to deflect it using modern weapons; missiles and cannons that could be fired into space, satellites that could fire high temperature beams through the cold void of space. With the combined firepower, man managed to seemingly eradicate God. But, before the smoke could clear, there came the Fragment Rain.

The pieces of God, the Fragments of the epitome of Faith scoured the entire world. People of all races and countries were exposed to God's wrath. Each and every man and woman who was not destroyed by this deadly hail had gone completely insane; the aura's protruding from the living tissue of God eminated still. Some of the tissue had grown into shapes - the same shapes of Angels that visited mankind so many thousands of years ago. They were twisted, more like what a man would call a demon or a monster, though he knew it was neither truly Angel or Demon, it was the remains of a creature that once took control of them through much more peaceful ways. Man had destroyed this monster, and the energy given by the weapons used to break the body of God had allowed life to reflow through the smaller, million beings that fell from on high.

Oddly enough, through unexplained reasons, there were a few survivors who are unaffected by the Fragments of God. These people are who the Roleplayers will play as.

And speaking of the roleplayers, I believe its time to explain the other important meaning of this thread. This is the template in which your characters should be made.

Name:
Age:
Former Occupation:
Former Nationality:
Former (or still in tact) Religion:
Appearance:
Anyother aspect of the character (quirks, blood type, hobbies, favorite things, etc):
Character History (make it interesting, I guess a paragraph is a good length for this):

There are no true guidelines to what you character can be like. I mean, there ARE certain things... you can't be an animal, that'd be sort of... weird. And you can't be one of the Fragments. No matter what, I dunno if you could even be effected by a Fragment, it would sorta go against the idea of your character being unaffected by its power. And for God's sake (yeah, pun, whatev) please don't make your character a superhero of sorts. Sure, the world is completely in ruins and you can take whatever you want with you, but don't make it so they find things or have "connections" to useful things. Make it difficult; this is a survival RP for the most part.

Any objections, character ideas, or whatever you want to say, you can post em now and I'll get a response post-haste!

Blank showed his curiosity through body language, as his face was never shown. A white-gloved hand scratched at his long black curls, allowing his opponent his way, no matter how odd they were. He wasn't quite sure what he could do; with that last block, it was only logical to guess that the same sort of stunt would cause the same effect. His surroundings offered him little choice when it came to using something other than his own weapon and skill. He had nothing to throw at the opponent his arsenal was small... or maybe... "Yes!" Blank found out. It wasn't small at all... in fact, it was as endless as the gray skies above and the white field at his feet.

It kept snowing continually, steadily. Blank did the same with his feet. They shuffled in place and then forward, sideways, his arms before him. Suddenly he went head over heels in a sort of frontwards roll. Immediatly when he got his footing, an object came hurtling from where he knelt, directly at his enemy. It went fast and hard in his direction....

... alas, it was only a snowball. Nice and powdery, no damage could be done. He watched it shatter into billions of flakes around his enemies spear.

Using this diversion, Blank made his way to Seticus as fast as he could. The cloud was just dissipating as he swung his blade at the enemy's own weapon.
