This is for the DS. Get it Dawn of Sorrow? Oh, Konami, how you make me happy... inside.

So I got this game from some kid today. For free, cause he's a freshman and well... he's 'tarded. So I went home and played it, and I got past the first two bosses, and this game is pretty nice. It doesn't have the Aria of Sorrow feel that the other had, and has more of an "anime" look to it, but is still good in the gameplay department, and the music is just as great. It doesn't really take advantage of the DS's capabilities though. It looks like a GBA game played on two screens with really good sound. Other than that, so far, this game is pretty good. If you didn't play Aria of Sorrow (since this is the sequel to it, remember) than:

A) You're missing out on one of the best GBA games. Ever.
B) You won't really need to in order to understand DoS's story. It's fairly simple.

So, you're a guy named Soma Cruz, an exchange student from Japan. Suddenly (now this is in AoS) there is a Solar Eclipse, and he finds himself in Dracula's castle. And then, he does some stuff, and is eventually the host for Dracula's soul. Eh, my explaination doesn't do it justice, but if you wanna see it in its full glory, get Dawn Of Sorrow. Cause it el rocks.

Oh man, well, my wish was granted.

I have the best kind of sickness. The one that you can deal with, and you get out of school cause you look and sound sick, but you don't feel that bad overall. This is great... haha, three day week of school; I was sick on thursday AND we get a snowday today! WUAHA!

Oh man. I just beat it.

Great game. Worst possible ending ever.

I know there are multiple endings, but I got a baaaad ending. It just... stops. Nothing else its like, seriously

Arikado: "Yo, wuddup Soma. Oh, he's gone. Well, lets go."
Soma: "lol, k"

I gotta get the better ending. I beat it in two days... wait, more like 5 hours, but whatever. Its still awesome.

Yeah, the Dario one was the first I got. That was terrible, worst ending to a game ever. But then, I did the other ending (but without that certain item equipped) and that ending was a little better. But the last ending, the best, aw man, that was so awesome. Totally made up for that crappy ending. The last boss is so awesome, but was a little easy.

Richard Pryor, a great comedian who's career spanded from the late sixties to the early ninties, died of a heart attack just today (December 10, 2005).

He was known for his edgy performances and racial humor. He was great; he could take incidents from his life, such as the time he burned over 50% of his body while trying to freebase cocaine (which he was addicted to along with alcohol), and manage to turn them into routines. He was given the Mark Twain award from humor. He was Richard-fucking-Pryor! And he died, and its too bad. I'll certainly miss him.

I want a PS2. I don't want an XBOX 360. Don't want it, don't want it. I don't want it. I want a PS2.

I think I'm getting a MOOG Keyboard. Thats what the hints point to. Oh, how I hope its that.

Definetly a new harmonica. And a holder to go around my neck.

Maybe a printer for my computer too, but I didn't ask for that.

Thats all really, maybe some pencils and notebooks too for other things, maybe a book or something. But I can tell you this: from one of my aunts, I'm getting another goddamn koosh ball. I fucking hate koosh balls.

The Marvel Site says that Juggernaut, Beast AND Colossus is gonna be in it.

I freaked. Thats great. Beast was my favorite when I was little, when the cartoon was on. I used to get pissed cause he rarely fought... and he wore glasses. Juggernaut has gotta be freaking sick though, I dunno how they'll do it.

DAMN. JULIUS MODE IS BITCHIN'.

Not for Julius. Julius in AoS was cooler. But that third guy...

That third guy!

Spoiler:
Alucard. Fucking shit man. FUCK-ING-SHIT. So awesome. How he moves his cape everytime he starts to walk. And he's got the super jump. Maaaaaan, Alucard is teh roxerous. I guess Yoko is pretty cool too, her magic is rippin' up strong and she can heal everytime she hits. All the characters have surprisingly good pros and cons.

I don't understand the leveling up. I've got my Julius to level 32, but I've only fought three bosses so far. I don't get that. Who cares though! It still rocks.

People sue for the dumbest shit man. My brother was driving his car one night and an old woman hit him. It was completely her fault, but she broke her hip so immediatly it was his fault. His car was totalled, hers was only a little banged up. Now she's suing for 300,000 dollars. Thats almost 100 times the expenses of her car and her hip, combined. She had insurance to pay for most of it. Wanna know the REALLY fucked up thing? This happened about five years ago. Everyone forgot about it, and when this woman just happened to be in dire need of money, she could only turn to one thing; being a greedy bitch. Now I'm not calling you're mom a bitch, cause that'd be a bastardly thing for me to say, but she is acting a little greedy, especially if you have a less chaotic way of dealing with things. I mean, all this legal crap, it drains even more money than whats needed.

Man. Sometimes I just wanna be a recluse cause of these things...

OOC: So I have a new character. I know, I sort of left my last battle in the dust, but it'd be a bump if I wanted to post in it again, plus there wasn't too much left to say in it. Plus, this new character is a lot better than the other one. I've shelled him out more, he's actually able to do stuff instead of pound things like the other guy.

This is an open battle. I'll take any challengers. I'm up for a challenge! I haven't battled in too long, and I'm gonna get into it more regularly again. This'll be the guy I use most of the time... eh, I hope I didn't say that about the other guy I used.... anyways...

There'll be sort of a story that goes along with this battle.

My character, Blank, is attempting to exit his world that is collapsing around him. There is a small opening that will close when one person, and one person alone, passes through it into another dimension. Whoever I am fighting will also be there, fighting to get through the door (don't worry, for the sake of your characters life, there are other exits, but very far away, and they want to get through this one because the world, which is collapsing, is dangerous to transverse.) The Opening is, oddly enough, in the doorway of a mansion in a large city. Cutting through the middle of this city is a river, which falls from a large waterfall to the north of the city. There are bridges, tall houses, alley ways and open streets. There is a city square which sort of serves as a large flat bridge over the river. The mansion is to the very north, and is close to the western side of the river. The city has cobblestone roads and a tan color to all the houses. It is cold, and the sky is burning in a kaleidoscopic, hallucinogenic whirl of colors. The ground around the city is being eaten away in small spots. The world is dying, and whoever can find an escape route has to escape if they want there lives. These routes will take them to another world, an unknown place. Its worth the risk, wherever they lead to. Why the world is collapsing... it has its reasons. All law and discord has been demolished. There is nothing; no chaos, no order. It doesn't exist. How THIS happened... well, thats up to your imagination.

So onto the battle.

IC:

Blank Harmony onced live in this land, this Everywhereland, this dying, collapsing world that fell in small pieces steadily around him. The City was in tact, along with short bits of land around it. The mountains and waterfall to the north were still solid and existing, along with the river which fell violently to is own death into nothingness as it exited the city. The wind was warm, and then cold. It didn't make sense, then again, what did it matter? It was wind, and it wasn't going anywhere. It seems like it would be the only thing left after the great white abyss that ate at the land had its fill. Blank saw the right kind of light shine from the doors to the mansion on the hill. There was a whole city and a gate to get past before he could make it to this other realm. No problem, as long as nothing got in the way.

He saw a figure in the town square. They stared at the same spot. Taking a large bound as if gravity barely mattered, he landed onto the town center. He landed on the harsh points of his boots, his scarf blowing calmly in the even harsher wind. The ribbon at the end of his Silver Rapier was whipping at a much faster rate. His blue bellbottoms moved the same direction as the scarves. His faceless mask didn't move a bit, neither did the tight suit jacket around his chest. His hand trembled.

What I like to call Santa Synth; can't go a Christmas without it.

My mom's got like, every album. She said their concert was the most amazing thing she's ever seen

They're not so bad for christmas music. I haven't heard anything other than Christmas music from them though.

Blank spoke through the white mask that covered his mouth. His voice came through as high and soft. It was gentle, sadistic... oddly enough, like a womans. It had a slight echo to it, even in this open square.

"Oh my... last survivors. The people ran out of the gates and down... down into nonexistance. I've done too much to do the same. I've never seen you... I wouldn't doubt it if you've never seen me. And after this fight, you may as well forget my faceless face. We are fighting now, are we not? I'm not letting that portal from my grasp this time."

Blank had few tricks up his sleeve. The whole world was at the fighters disposal, which wasn't much of a statement. He waited for his oppenent to make the first move. One hand shook slightly over the hilt of his blade, the other leaned calmly on his waist. If the opponent mad a dash for the portal, he would stab him in the back, and he was almost positive the same would happen with him.

Blank knew the lands. He could find another portal if he lost. But could his opponent? He didn't particularly care. Then again, mercy had to be in his nature... partially.

Awww I had to give my copy back to that kid before I could beat Julius Mode...

But I actually haven't played Symphony of the Night for too long. I've only played a real short bit of it. Thats the one I want to get next, I'm sure I can buy it with the christmas money I get.

Spoiler:
Yep, Soma is the last boss. I haven't seen him, but I've read about it in multiple places. So I cheated, blah. I know he uses the Abaddon Soul, the one with the locusts. That has to be a pain in the ass, its one of the ones I used alot after I got it.

Gravity seemed to be working on Blank's side. With the fluxuation of matter and reality, gravity too had begun to alter. It would become heavy, to average, to nearly nonexistant. In the case of the knife coming close to his chest, he was fortunate enough to catch gravity in a lower wave of its ever peaking and crashing amounts. He slid and jumped, floating a bit, to the side, and landed on his feet, sliding a bit away from where he jumped. The dust on the ground was heavy, and made it difficult to get a running start. He readied his blade in a careless, seemingly drunken grasp, but spoke before he dashed.

"If you are looking to prove yourself, this world is not your arena. Do you see the sky? Do you know why it is that color? Science doesn't matter. Logic doesn't matter. The sky is emptiness, that blue color is the absence of energy, in this realm at least. The Moon, the only living energy in the sky, she is the mother to all of us here, and even she is crumbling away into blue. All people of importance are dead or gone. Except for myself. I played an integral role to the people of this world - but no more. When this world began to crumble, I needed to escape. I was once two, and my greedier side was immobile, so it took advantage of my good. We balance out into a normal man. You may not care, or even be listening, but I've got through too much torment of fusing myself together from two bitter rivals to just give up my chance. I'm sorry, but you cannot pass through that gate."

Blank took a large step and almost flew towards Sajin. He missed greatly and went rocketing onto the bridge where he spun around and ran backwards once hitting the ground to stop himself. The bridge was wide and cracked, with high railings and ornate sculptures of large lions gracing the pillars that were at the four corners. This was only one bridge in town. The center of the bridge had a large crack, and below flowed the massive river. It was dark and foreboding, smoky at the surface from all the ash. The pieces that had fallen from the bridge slightly blocked the water way, causing the alleys and streets to the east of the city to be flooded up to about ankle deep. Gravity fluxed backed to normal for a second, and Blank beckoned his opponent, his sword tip pointed at his direction.
