Turshman ran for the Vic Crush and picked it up. It neither burned nor cut him in anyway, bur instead he could feel the items within it moving around. Facing Mika, he threw the marble sized energy ball right at her head, and the impact forced some of the contents within the Crush out again. The orb bounced off of the girls head and between the two, with an unfamiliar hilt sticking out from the orb. As Mika balanced herself into position again, Turshman walked to the hilt and pulled. With ease, his weapon came out. Yet it was slightly changed...

--------------------
~Phlegethon Rapier (Complete)~ Due to the intense presurization put upon the original Phlegethon filament during its time spent inside the Vic Crush, the rapier went through a metamorphoses of sorts. The hilt was flattened into a disk shape that had lost the mantle. The handle was simplified though, as it had fused with this mantle to provide a grip that would enhance the users resistance to heat. The filament was now straightened and hardened, and instead of having to manually change the heat with a knob as if still using the Gateau, it would be able to change the tempurature of the poker at the users whim. The tip was sharpened, and due to the hardening process, it is not as flimsy as it was before, thus stabbing can now occur. But it still cannot cut, and the cannot get very higher than it had in the past.
--------------------

Turshman, with the rapier above his head, took a mad dash at Mika, swooping his true weapon down upon his enemy.

(ooc: that should be enough upgrades on that thing for one battle, heh)

Its sort of hard to say what inspired my character. If I have to choose one person, it definetly has to be Jeigan from Lupin III, personality wise. And almost all of my characters in anything I write have sideburns, so thats a little Lupin love right there (or maybe its just narcisism... I rock the sideburns myself). Turshman is also based off of certain people that are song about in folk and country western songs.

Irish and... maybe somethin else? You can't tell that I'm anything other than Irish though, on account of the pale skin that does nothing when I walk outside (I never tan or get any color; recently I haven't even been burning. Its like I reflect the light now). I don't know many people who are paler than I am... there's no other way to explain why I'm so godawful white other than my heritage. I dunno where I got my curly hair from. Its not like, jewpuffmcafroamericovonjewerton or anything, but it curls. It's like my dads; used to be dark brown but is slowly getting darker as it grows longer for some bizarre reason. And the blue eyes are probably irish too.

Proud of glowiness... proud of the fear I strike into peoples hearts when I'm in Boston on St. Patricks day... but I'm NOT proud of the fact that everyone in america is irish on that day. It pisses me off for some reason (reason probably being the fact that I'm Irish, and its St. Patricks day). When people have the shamrock shirts... and the shamrock pins... and the shamrock/and or green aprons, hats, pants, backpacks, headbands, stockings, socks, shoes, hair, pens, pencils, fingernails, makeup, braces, flags, tablecloths, drapes, and whatever the fuck you can think of... ONLY because its an Irish holiday, I'm all "Blargh! Admit that your mutts, mutts, and let me be with my secret plans of genoc-" yeah so on...

With a knee to the nose, Turshman fell on his bottom and crabwalked backwards, after being flung into the air. He felt blood tickle below his nose and he sneezed, causing a cloud of blood to come out. His head began to feel hazy.

He stood up quickly, stumbling his his hand on his face. "I've really chosen the wrong person to mess with, haven't I? I need to get used to fighting again." He didn't have a gun, and despite the lessons he'd learned from a wiseman he once knew, hugging the enemy seemed like a chance missed.

He held up both hands "Peace... I'll submit to you. You're obviously more than what meets the eye, darling. I'll let you be, but be warned: these orchards, treat them with respect if you choose to wander them ever more. We go waaaay back... maybe I'll explain my feelings for this place if we meet again some day. As for now...," a drop of rain fell, an omen to the on coming thunderstorm, as he patted a nearby tree lovingly. "it rains."

Turshman walked the empty stream that led out of the orchard, wading as it filled, holding his bowler hat down with one hand and holding his weapon at his side with the other.

OOC: ... you win!

Ha, you know why this is hell?

Because we don't know ANYTHING about whats afterwards, and we all work so hard to be granted something better in the future when we really have no clue as to what we are working for. Religion must've spawned from the minds of thinkers who need some sort of concrete way of thinking in order to comfort themselves and others. They think they know whats beyond, and that knowledge makes them comfortable. Its the ones who think of Heaven and Hell as existing places that makes them not fear death as much as others. Its they're complete ignorance to the fact that nobody knows for sure that God is real, that Muhammad was greeted by actual angels or that Jesus was the son of the Creator. They tell themselves these farfetched things for comfort, which isn't a bad thing at all. I think if you don't have something to cusion your death, you'll be looking for a way to all your life and find there is nothing to find but a useless squabbling, a plague in your head that is born and dies at the same time as you do.

I'm not a Christian, I'm not a Muslim, I'm not a Jew, or anything else. I'm not an atheist either. I'm lost is what I am. I choose not to believe these things due to their man made restrictions that grow more and more as time goes on. Maybe its rebellion, or trendy. But I still would not feel I would be living the best I can, even with this comfort their ideas have given this earthly world.

I am a man born out of civilization. Civilization is born out of law. Law is born out of religion. God has told the Christians that murder is bad, but do I really need a divine power to tell me that taking another mans life is wrong? Why is it wrong? Not because I'll be damned to Hell, because I wouldn't want to die either. Why don't I want to die? I'm afraid of what is beyond. I picture is as an ideal area, but I am so unsure of the fact that that is real that I can't wholeheartedly believe that. I'm fueled by instinct, confusion, and peace. I know the difference between right on wrong, be it either religion or my own mind that tells me so. Influence is something that can never be avoided, and living in a country that has a majority of Christian followers, its hard to not think like a christian, because they've got it down: you live, you die, you go to heaven or hell. They've pummled this into they're minds so much that they "know" its real. But I don't know if it is, and deep down inside of them the answer doesn't exist either. So what can I do now? Just stop worrying about dying, and let it happen when it happens; but like THATS gonna happen. Death is always dancing around a healthy mind, no matter who it is.

To not know where you are, where you're going, that my friends, is Hell indeed to me.

Correct my contradictions if you find any. I'm ready for discussion anytime!

If thats directed towards me, which it looks like it is than all I have to say is that I am the last person you should be saying that to. I don't doubt that you've read the whole thing, but I can definetly see why someone would think about what you said. But I did explain myself and my ignorance in it, so you might have missed a part or something (it was a sort of long post, I'll admit). It was all about everyone, including myself, on the planet being ignorant to the fact that they do not know what is beyond and that God may or may not exist. I'm not saying he doesn't, I'm saying that I'm just not positive because I've never met the guy, nor have I died before... and I am calling everyone and their mothers ignorant to the great beyond because they are, unless they are absolutely hell bent on believing that God exists (which I also said was never a bad thing to think; in fact, I think I remember saying that it was better for them because they wouldn't be worrying about the things that nonbelievers do quite so much... in certain ways of course) I tried as hard as I could to portray this in a way that wouldn't have people offended. I dunno, I guess you've gotta read it when your in the right mood or something. It was sorta unclear, but I still stick by it. If theres still anything a bit cloudy, I'll explain it.

See, that last post just reminded me... those are all natural things really. It may be gross, but its nature. Same with sex, right? So why can they show only certain parts of nature?

Maybe they're just doing this to be difficult with the public.

And holy shit. You have amazing gentials if you've got a chubber after watching that.
