| Turning her attention back over to John, she nodded. "I've been looking for my father and the girls...can't seem to find them anywhere..." Her voice trailed off for a moment. She paused and shook her head as though she were shaking something out of her hair. "This is a pretty big place. I'm sure they're around somewhere."
Again, she looked around. For the first time since everything had happened, Natalie was taking in everything around her. As of lately, she had only a one-track mind. She was about to ask John if he was alone as well, but noticed that two of the people she originally saw there, were gone. "Where are they going?" She asked. |

| I've only seen one episide, and it wasn't too bad as far as the racism is concerned. It was the one where the grandpa beat up the blind man. I know it was a comic strip...I never read it though, and last night was the first I've seen the show, so I really wouldn't know background of it or what it's really supposed to mean. **shrugs** The Boondocks just never caught my attention until two buddies of mine kapt talking about it in Physics. So I figured I'd give it a try.
Anywho...not too bad, but I'll prolly have to watch it a few more times to have a real opinion of it. But from what I have heard, it sounds really funny. |

| Alarmed at Xeios' sudden movement, Kira reached out in an attempt to prevent him from moving from his place. She was too late. She couldn't help but let out a gasp when she saw how well healed he was.
These guys can't possibly be fully human..., she thought to herself. She didn't even bother looking around to see if the beast had really left. She merely just listened as his footsteps feemed to fade away little by little. In one swift, graceful movement, Kira was on her feet and standing beside Xeios. "Why the hell didn't you wait to make sure the damned thing had gone before getting up?!" she hissed, keeping her voice as low as possible. |

| Alby looked up at Xeios as he finally let go of her hand. As it dropped to her side, a few more droplets of blood trickled down. However, she paid no mind to it as her attention was immediately taken hold of by the stunningly remarkable room.
She didn't know what to make of it, as she brushed past Xeios and entered the room after Azrael. The room itself had a beauty of it's own, but something about it set her nerves on end. |

| Her eyes were back on John, almost set to a glare. "Do you think anything will be normal again?" She said in a bit of a huff.
She could hear everyone behind them, going about their daily routines as best as they could. For the first time since being there, Natalie felt sorry for everyone stuck there. They were so helpless to the situation. Knowing that she didn't want to be as helpless as the rest of the remaining population, her mind was made up. "Of course I'm going, John." She says calmly. "I'm suprised you made it this far without me looking out for your sorry ass." She says with a smirk, nudging him playfully. Directing her attention to the remaining party standing around, Natalie gave a slight nod. "As John here has already said, I'm Natalie...and you all would be?" Her eyes flickered upon Jake for a moment. He seemed uncomfortable...almost as though he was hiding something. |

| Hmmm...I envy you all...I would kill for even a half hour extra sleep in the morning for school...
Weekdays: 5:30am- Wake up for school. 6:15am-Gotta be out the door and at the El stop (El=Elevated Train...it's kinda cool actually.) 7:20-7:30am- Somewhere within those 10 minutes I usually get to school. 7:40am-school officially starts. 2:25pm- Done school (Fridays that's 1:29 though) 4:00pm- Somewhere around there...sometimes later, sometimes earlier, I get home from school (Again, Fridays are an exception) 4:00pm until...-eat something, mess around on the compy, homework, video games, read something...**shrugs** Whatever there is around the house to do actually. The "until" is because sometimes I dun get to bed until after 12, and others I crash by 9:30. Weekends: **shrugs** Whatever comes up over the weekend. Sometimes I'll have the kids all weekend, others I'll actually have so much fugging homework that I don't go anywhere anyways, sometimes I go out with friends, family, whatnot. **shrugs** EDIT: And that's pretty much just during the winter. I usually do a lot more when the weather's nicer, whether there's school or not. Still not really much of a life though.  (Last edited by Katana on 02-12-06 08:42 PM) |

As for the snow...meh. My older sisters and two of my younger ones teamed up on me, dug a giant hole outside, threw me in it and left me there.  Then when I finally got out they pretty much kicked my ass with snow.

| Alrighty...these are really kickass ideas going on here.
I still need more people, cuz yeah...there's quite a bit of character involvement I suppose. Though like I said, people can be more than one charrie, and if we're really in a pinch for charries, then people could be two major charries if they'd like, and then a few other minor. Just to remind everyone though. The "Ministry of Hades" isn't something you just say "Oh hey, this is cool. I'll join." When you die and are sent to Hades, they find you due to your exceptional abilities. Otherwise...if there's something about this anyone doesn't find interesting and think it should be changed, or something should be added and whatnot, let me know and we'll work toegther to pick out a final story before we start this. **shrugs** Everyone here has kickass imaginations and I love everything people come up with on this board.
Besides, not many people are joining, so I may be lacking something here. |

| I share Voltron's outlook on the holiday. **shrugs** I personally think it's a cute "holiday". Like it has meaning to my mom and my step-dad because it's only a little after their anniversary and my step-dad always does nice things for her today as part of their anniversary. It's cute really.
Anywho...meh. Everyone's my Valentine! **glomps all** My school considered it like a "friendship" day type of thing. All last week they sold these "valentine's" or "friendship" grams...however you wanna call it. I got three today in homeroom this morning. Sorry...but those taffies with the grams are sooo good!
I see it as just another day as well. I see the point that when you're truly in love, just one day shouldn't matter like this...but I see certain yearly celebrations as just a way to celebrate everything and have a certain say to make sure that no one gets caught up in the fast lane so to speak and takes things for granted. Hey, we're all human, so no matter how much we love someone, we can slip up somehow. But I don't think that "day" should be universal. It should have meaning to those people celebrating it and be at a time meaningful for them. SO for some people, Valentine's day could have particular meaning to them. For others it might not. Point is, join in on the comercialism and have fun.

| I have a lot of heroes actually. Some of them are people that the odds of ever meeting are extremely slim, but most of them are very real, ordinary people, just like us here.
What I mean by the "unordinary" people are people like Steven Speilberg and George Lucas (as much as I like Star Wars, that is not the only reason why Lucas is among those I admire.) I've just always been interested in their career paths and they've just been people that I look up to as far as my own choices of a career. Other than that, it's real people. I have a ginormous amount of respect and admiration for my religion teacher, sister Eileen, as well as many other people. She's just the most recent to be added to the list. My "heroes" are the people that I care about what they think of me. No, not in an insecure sense where it's like "Oh, I want these people to like me because I have to fit in." Bullcrap. :p If I care about what someone thinks, it's because there's something about them that appeals to me personally about them and that there's something in there that I truly want to be for myself and if they're frowning at me over something, then maybe I'm not living up to par with what I want to be.
As usual, I went into my long tangents. But This is a subject that I do not take lightly...but at the same time, it doesn't take all that much to be my hero. You don't have to have X-ray vision or be able to jump tall buildings. :p |
