Jack raised an eyebrow. "So, let me get this straight, A bunch of aliens destroy the shard weilding other aliens, who just so happened to not be smart enough to use the shards in combat, and then when an asteroid is launched to earch, they didn't bother to stop it?

"Also, why did they fire at the ship when it had the shards, and yet not us, when we have them? Sorry, but there's a lot of flaws in your...ideas. I find it very convient that you show it just now, and we jsut so happen to be right. If you are correct, we should be combining our forces and destroying these aliens, not fighting each other. Can you tell me anything else, or should I throw you out of my office?" He looked at the shard. "And what does this do?"

ic: Sticks cracked as a figure walked forward. Alex, master of the mind, approached Echelon. Alex's hair was orange, but his face had no freckles, as usually accompanied such hair. He wore what looked like a tuxedo, but was in fact much more. Only one weapon was visible, a scabbard for a katana hanging at his belt. That was the only physical weapon in his arsenal. His hands were covered in what appeared to be white glothes, with no skin other than his face in site. "Good day, the name is Alex." He said. He sounded like a normal person, his voice calm and level, not containing any hidden strength or cowardice. "It would be nice to fight soemone new for a change. Since you haven't fought in a while, I'll allow you the first move." He said this as if he were discussing the new store that opened up down the street. His body glowed with a blue aura, and he drew his sword, the light glinting off of it briliantly. "Come, let us battle."

At least they allowed him to stay at their place, better than staying a hermit. Hopefully though, it would get better once he got to know everyone. Ah well, time to get to work on that rocket propelled car he was going to design.

He quickly swung his sword downward towards the sweeping kick. The trajectory in which the kick went would make it cut itself off at right before reaching Alex. His leg already had the momentum by the time Alex made a move, and as such, it would be difficult for him to avoid losing his leg. "I don't like the name...Al. Inspired by a book I've read recently. However, this follows a different, and definitally better story.

The year is 2376. Earth's old nations are gone, and united inot one government known as the Unified Alliance. They have stretched out to all of the arms of the current galaxy, discovering that all of our hopes and dreams were overrated. There are no aliens, no great resources, no new discoveries. Just increased mass for people to live. The government is based on two major political works. The judiciary system following the old United States constitution, and the others were based on book three of Plato's Republic. In other words, elections are handled differently. Elections are held only by select members, with the lower class citizens always fearing and envying the upper class members. The soldiers are changed almost completely. Any orphans are sent to Earth, where they train to become soldiers. However, this would not be nearly enough to make a good military, and as such, the government artificially grows clones. They are perfected. Strong, look good, and all having no idea of what they are. They can be placed right next to each other, and look at each other, and have no idea they look like each other. However, there is also a genetic alteration so that if any of them have it confirmed to them that they are a clone, or discover it, they die. So this is where you enter. You are a soldier in this world. Whether or not you are a clone is completely unknown, although you all believe yourselves to be orphans. This is the story of a platoon in what is believed to be a perfected government, there will be many casulties, many deaths, and many battles. On a side note, a clone's personality can be very different from another. Experiences can greatly alter one's personality at a young age, and as such, you are unique to some degree. Character sheet: Name: Age: Specialization: Please note that this will not be all combat, as that is too standard. This will concentrate on the people, not the overall combat. No one can be a higher rank than corproal, and only two of those are allowed. I choose everyone's rank for you, based on RP experience.

ic: Alex smiled. Circle's had much power. He had no idea if this guy was about to use it for magic, but either way being careful is best. He began charging his own attack, one which had only failed twice, and should easily kill this guy without a problem. It's also an awesome starter move to figure out how people work. "I'm waiting..."

Armor which did not hinder his mobility, but offered excellent protection. Smoke was flowing out of his visor, and a glint of red was visible through it. Jaques had a huge sword in one hand, and a kite shield on the opposite arm. The shield looked sharpened, it would be just as deadly as the sword. "Who is my ally in this fight?" he asked.

Shaking his head, Harry opened the car door, and stepped out. "You know, you drove a bit slow there," he said to Alexander. "If you can help me get funding, I can make that car go fast enough to kill any unfortunate fish that happen to be inside of it."

Why on earth did he always get into challenges like this? He liked speed, he liked engineering, he liked cars. But why did he need rockets. It would probably be fun though, and if he made it, he could try taking over driving. That would be fun, or he could just get his own smaller, faster car. "Anyone got any idea who I go to about that? All of you have no idea. I got one when I was sleeping inside a leaking tent at scout camp.

This is also a chinese torture. Be in a very cramped room, have water drip on you. A small drop once a second, each one landing on your forhead and sliding to the ground. So you're cramped, cold, and as this takes two days, very thirsty and tired. Very uncomfortable way to die.
