Granted, but an endless number of nonstaff users would quote it and point at it as if it were the law of the universe, attempting to call our other users on the use of the FAQ. >.>

101 Dalmatians, as far as I know, is actually the only Disney film to show two married people, and have both of them survive the entire movie.

As for the happy ending, well, Disney makes childrens films. I'll tell you right now, if I saw the original Hunchback of Notre Dame movie when I was five, I'd be emotionally scarred.

Disney instead has the strong storytelling practice of keeping things heavy in the beginning, lighter in the middle, then heavier as the climax approaches, and then a happily ever after in the conclusion. Does it make a bad movie? No, I don't think so. It just makes things for children who want tome happy fun.

ooc: I'm assuming you're right handed, if you're actually left, PM me and I'll edit this. I'm also assuming, as you did no say otherwise, that you're using standard footwork, like an ordinary martial artist. If not, again, we have PMs for a reason, xD.

Alex smiled, a punch like that didn't win battles, but it definitely made them easier. No creature, no matter how powerful, could take a rib breaking punch and just smile it away. It would at the very least, slightly damage Cairoi's mental concentration.

Bu it was time for battle. A swordfight works very much like a dance. There is a rhythm, there is movement, there is footwork. Like a dance always starts with the man's left foot, a battle always started with the sword foot forward.

So when Cairoi swung his sword left-to-right at Alex's side, he stepped forward with his right foot, leaving his left foot back behind him. At this point, he met in a sword lock on Alex's right, Cairoi's left, side, and held the pressure. This meant that Cairoi's sword was extended from his right arm, through to his left side.

A step forward with the left foot, towards Alex's own injured left foot, would require two things. First, his foot traveled underneath the sword lock, past Alex's right foor, and diagonally towards Alex's left foot. Second, in order to step forward while still retaining force on the sword lock, Cairoi would have to lean against Alex's sword, as well as moving his body forward, in order to put weight on the foot he was stomping down.

Even a step forward in battle could be complicated, something Alex knew all too well. So, when Cairoi stepped forward, Alex did not step back. Instead, then as Cairoi lifted his leg and started moving it toward Alex's, Alex exerted a small telekenetic push towards the back of Cairoi's leg, not going against it, only magnifying the force Cairoi was already exerting. However, before Cairoi began to step down, Alex directed the telekenetic force upwards, which, if done properly, would swing Cairoi's foot up, and cause him to fall backwards on his back.

If Cairoi did this, as he fell backwards, he would lose the swordblock. If this happened, Alex would swing his sword hard at Cairoi's left side.

As Alex had expended almost no enrgy in this attack, he began conentrating again. Retaining his hold on the chip, but also on something else, gathering his energy.

Movie of the year for me, xD. Its really stupid and cheesy, but its also just a lot of fun to watch.

And given that you mentioned Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, I'd also reccomend Memento, which is by the same director, and a movie that will seriously mess with your mind.

I want everyone, for this discussion to picture a perfect God, one who can do only good, and had the power to shape everything in the universe.

Now, my question for you is, does your God disobey the laws of the universe? Can he create matter, which according to our science, cannot be created or destroyed, but only changed? My God doesn't. I do not believe in an impossible God.

But as many of you know, I am a very strong Mormon, in fact, I plan on leaving to teach people my gospel for two years. How then can I believe in science over God? The answer is simple, God and science do not contradict.

Many people say that it is either God or The Big Bang. However, lets look at some basic science real quick. The Big Bang implies that all of the mass in the universe was once in one place, a place smaller than a grain of sand. Like a black hole, only much bigger.

Then this piece of matter explodes, and all the mass in the universe is spread out. Some pieces of matter form into planets, some asteroids, some simply little particles that float around. Let's back up a little bit.

This particle, before exploding, sat around for, as far as we know, a near infinite amount of time before exploding. As anyone familiar with chemistry knows, and object at rest can only be put into motion by outside forces. A catalyst, if you will. So my question is, why could God not have been the catalyst? Why could he not have created the Big Bang as well?

But many people say that God created the earth out of nothing, because of Genesis 1:1 "IN the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Okay, so he created it. Where does it say he did it out of nothing?

So that's my beliefs on creation, I'll give you some good stuff about cavemen a little later.

Well, it may give the desperate something to hold on to, a cahnce of hope. Indeed, Christ even talks about how how those who are heavy laden and come to him will recieve help. But, the difference is, I believe religion helps FAR more than you (Vince) believe it helps.

I still have some things to say about cavemen, but my right index finger is injured, so you're going to have to wait until I can type long posts again.

Dude! Welcome back man.

As for my life, I'm a highschool student now, a few months away from leaving on a two year mission with my church (with no internet/telephone/etc), and am still petty much the same as usual.

Oh yeah, and I'm taking over Xeogaming in a coup, don't forget that.

Creative writing, hands down. All of our works were peer reviewed, and we were given a HUGE amount of room to act in, so I was really happy with it.

Alright man, a few things...

On goals:

Set up a a very rigorous exercise program. I say this for many reasons, first off because its challenging, second because you can do it even when you're really distracted with someone, and third, because its healthy. It also releases endorphins into your blood that will make you happier, making you feel better in life.

I had a friend who discovered that his brother was a pedophile, among other far more disturbing things that I won't get into, and went into a depression for literally over a year. He got into Call of Duty and literally played for over 30 hours a week. His grades went down, his social life diminished, etc. You know what got him out of it? Exercise. Do it.

On suicide: I'm sure that the usual arguments have either already been posted, or already gone through your head, but I'm going to say them anyway. Your life might not be perfect now. In fact, judging by what you've said already, your life could be a lot better. I say this because recognizing the problem is important if you ever want to work through this.

But while recognizing this, you should instead think about what's good in your life. You have friends, you have enough social skills to make good enough friends for someone to want to live with you after a month. You ability for an education.

Once you have that, I want you to never dwell on anything negative in your life for more than a minute. Its hard, and it takes a huge amount of self control, but if you're concentrating on what's making you unhappy, you're just going to be in more pain. Instead, distract yourself. Play a video game, watch TV, read a book. Just don't dwell on the bad.

As a great jedi put it, "your focus determines your reality." If you focus on what you don't like, it'll be the only part of reality that matters to you. This is why I never post here in Sunset Waterfall, I just look at my problem, do what I can, and then concentrate on other things.

On your current problem:

Honestly, all I can really advise is that you be her friend, make sure she knows that whatever happens, she realizes that you're her friend, more than just a new relationship.
