| well my birthday was pretty good. I didn't party at all really. Went to dinner with
my dad and a couple of friends, spent my birthday with my girlfriend and then got up at five this morning to go work in San Diego where I spent the entire day digging a very big hole in a McDonalds planter and getting rather very sunburnt.

| I might not be around for a while. I have some shit happening and I don't know

| I'm a Druid. Or studying to be one at least. It takes a while to actually reach the
status of Druid. Currently I would be considered a Bard, next stage is Ovate, THEN comes Druid. It's also rather difficult without a Grove nearby and finding material to teach oneself is hard since there's so little of it. I've scoured bookstores of all types and so far I've managed to buy only three of the five book that I've seen in total that have Druid in the title. I also have a book called Celtic Magic but that's not exactly Druid even though the Celtic lands is where most Druidry came from. WhiteRose will probably have more to add but Druidry is basically earth and nature based magic and wisdom. The ancient Druids studied for over a dozen years before they reached the actual rank of Druid. They were mediators, peace keepers and the voice of reason among the tribes. I like and agree with everything I've seen where Druidry is concerned. I can't say that for any other religion I've looked at so for me this fits better than anything else. It's a very good thing my girlfriend is tolerant of me though. lol. Her family would REALLY flip out about that one. |

| I agree, working skyclad is a bit outside of my comfort zone too. (for those that
don't know. Skyclad = naked.) Elara, WhiteRose and Oni and I would be more than willing to celebrate ya know? It might be a bit late to try to work something out for Beltane but maybe if we can manage it we can go to a park or something and celebrate plain clothes. The intent is more important than the ceremony of the event don't you think? In my Druid researchings I have come across that same comparison that Rogue made. You can compare a lot of pagan beliefs to the Star Wars concept of the Force. It's largely talking about energy and life surrounding you, inside you and infusing the world and universe itself. The main point behind Magic, (or Magik.) is to tap into those energies and ask, not command, but ask for their help in whatever spell or rite it is that you want to perform. I THINK I got that right. | I've got a couple wiccan books and I've been playing with the idea for the last
couple days of attempting to completely merge Wicca and Druidry into something of my own. I'm not sure how realistic or possible an idea it is considering I'm still learning and don't know nearly as much as I'd like to know about either. I really need to study some more before I try incorporating the two together. |

| didn't there used to be a way to just clear out your in box of PM's? Now we have
to delete them one at a time which is vvery time consuming, and I've found that it's impossible to delete PM's that I have sent to other people. Is there any way that can be possible? |

| Over two weeks ago I posted a thread saying I would possibly be gone for an
extended period of time. The reason being I was expecting to have been arrested and tossed in jail by now honestly. My girlfriend's dad decided a bit over two weeks ago that his 15 year old daughter dating a 22 year old didn't sit well with him so he's turned her life upside down, caused her no end of emotional torment by dragging her to six different police stations to give her statement while he was pressing charges against me. What those charges are, I don't really know. The police have not contacted me even once. I have attempted ot initiate contact on a couple occasions thinking it would be better if I went to the police myself instead of making them come get me, I was told I would have to wait for a detective to contact me. So far, nothing. So my question is what do people think of the situation? Questions, comments, condemnations, advice? Any and all are welcome and will be debated endlessly. |

| 14 is the legal age in Hawaii and another state I forget which. The problem I have
with that is a 14 year old girls body, physically isn't matured enough for sexual intercourse without greatly increasing future health risks. at 15 to sixteen the average female has physically grown and matured enough for it to not be a factor if I remember my highschool health class well enough. The biggest problem is as Makura said, the law doesn't care how much in love we are, neither does her dad. Though there are good things going for me in this case, the bottom line is I'm going to be in some trouble. The only x factor is how much trouble. I personally don't find it all that fair. And that's not just cause I'm in the middle of it. I've always felt that if a person is mature enough to intelligently make a decision, they're mature enough to accept the consequences of that decision. Putting a legal age limit on it seems... I'm not really sure. Ridiculous seems to strong, silly not strong enough of a word. *shrugs* It just seems off kilter to me somehow. |

| I like to think that if my fifteen year old daughter was with a 22 year old I would
have enough respect and trust in my daughter to believe she'll make an intelligent decision. I'd sit and talk to her, find out how she really feels, ask questions, involve myself but without putting a shit load of stress on her. Admittedly I probably wouldn't be happy about it myself. But I would at least TRY to understand. |

| I agree with her. We're not going to be able to see or contact each other much
until she's 18. That really sucks. But it gives us both an opportunity to focus on getting our lives in order and we've both got plenty to do to keep us occupied. Makura has been bending over backwards to keep the trouble I'm going to get into to a minimum. And from our situation I can imagine that things could probably go fairly well. Much better than I have any right to hope really but there it is. |

You're judging me personally which is some fucked up shit and you're really starting to piss me off. I had a daughter Kaijin, so don't EVER fucking talk to me about how I would act about MY FUCKING FAMILY. I'm not pissed at the parents for being mad at me. I'm pissed about the fact that they're so singlemindedly trying to get me that they don't give a shit how much THEY are hurting HER. Can you read my mind? Can you read my soul? No, so don't think you can tell me if I love her or don't love her. We met around two years ago, we both liked each other, not in a sibling way. She was too young for me though and I didn't know if she liked me so I settled on being a supportive person for her, like a big brother. It took us both a year and a half and a lot of emotional shit to get our acts together and admit how we felt about each other. I would die for her. Hell, I would kill to protect her if I had to. There are only two people in the world I would honestly kill to protect. My daughter, who is dead. And Makura. Do not think you can beat me over the head with her age. I'm well aware of how old she is. I'm well aware we should have waited till she was 18. I'm well a-fucking-ware that we didn't make the best of decisions where that is concerned. I'm not even going to dignify the rest of your bullshit with a response. Sajin. The "Test" that Makura mentioned wasn't something we did intentionally. She and I have decided to look at the fact that we're not going to get to see each other, probably at all for the next two and a half years or so as a test. We're sure we can get through that separation and our relationship will be the better for it, despite the fact that it's going to be very hard. |
