| I haven't got something like that before... that is really awesome. Compliments and occasional tips I get all the time. The greatest feeling of satisfaction that I ever got was a guy that had been stung by a stingray and was waiting for a ride. I went out of my way to get him water and anything else he needed, and he was really really grateful. It was just his expression of relief that made my day. Also the looks of joy and being impressed that I used to get as an attendant at the Titanic exhibit years ago when I could answer questions and give details that no one else could. Sure, my boss killed it by telling me to herd them like sheep but the guy at the gift shop loved me because I made him more money by pointing out books that had more info. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I don't know what the emotional issues were, but for the being on your own part be sure to apply for any financial aid you can get and study your ass off next semester. You can try pleading the case with your folks but fixing it yourelf will probably earn more respect.
Ask your professors if there is any extra credit you can do to save your grades. Might help. |

| Technically, by law, for it to be considered rape all the victim has to do is say "no" at any point during the encounter. However, like Rogue said, if she said no and it happened anyway, what exactly happened?
Also, like Rogue and Katana said, this is a very grey area where a real solution has not yet appeared. I don't even know if a happy medium can be reached. |

Looks like this year will be Ben's family on Thursday and then my family on Friday. We figure that it is less likely we will see his folks before the move than mine... since we are storing stuff at their house. Besides, my birthday is next week so I am sure they will do something for that. |

I like this Matt guy, please thank him for us when you see him next. It is not good that you went so far down the rabbit hole, True and I am glad that someone was able to pull you out of it. Knowing that you are happy again takes a load off of my mind, I know you are not happy out there, and I don't blame you. But you have a good friend there now, which can make much more of a difference than the loads of friends you have here at home, since we are so far away and so scattered.
