| The entire nomination process has never actually been democratic, and has frequently involved rule abuse and active campaigns to change the rules to the obvious benefit of one candidate over the other.

For all his talk of "revolution" and "changing the system", Sanders has no practical plans for how to actually accomplish any of his stated goals, they all count on things just going his way. Apparently he's been asleep for the last eight years. Do I want things to change? Yes. It's a shit system. Do I think he can do it? lol Realistically I'm not even sure he could beat any of the Republican candidates, but I'd still vote for him over Trump or Cruz. This, however, is the faintest praise imaginable. There's little I wouldn't vote for against those two. John Wayne Gacy would make it a difficult debate, perhaps; I don't know yet how I'd feel voting for a reanimated corpse. Kasich? Someone seemingly grounded in reality vs someone with (completely unrealistic in a presidential term) goals i actually agree with? Tough decision. Would probably sit that one out. Tangentially related to the entire fiasco... The entire concept of an "outsider" candidate having inherent merit is terrifying to me. Running a government actually does require a specific skill set, no matter what people might want to believe. There's a prevailing tendency in this country to give the opinions of the unqualified some special value specifically because they're not part of some nebulous "establishment" that has been painted as the enemy. You see it in politics (example: the entire Trump shitshow), but also in alternative medicine, climate change denial, and at the extreme end, conspiracy theorists. A lot of people don't want to admit that the experts might actually know something they don't. Ironically, many of them are the same ones that bitch about "participation ribbons". Go figure. Literally all he's good at is marketing himself and fucking people over for his own benefit - see also, Trump University. He claims he'd pick "the best people", but when does he intend to start? He should've already had someone properly handling the issues of "white nationalist" groups actively campaigning for him, not to mention this magical bit of incompetence. If, that is, "incompetence" is what it actually is - far more likely given recent remarks is that he's intentionally courting the racists. And maybe, just maybe, he'd be able to come up with some less transparent excuses. So that leaves Hillary, or the libertarian maybe. Ah, Libertarians. Where to begin, where to begin... How about here. Yeah, there's a lot of reasons I dislike the Libertarian movement. I'd elaborate more, but I'm already getting to be a bit wordier than I intended. But more to the point, look at what I've said about Trump, compare that to my previous statements on politics - it shouldn't be many because I normally try to avoid the subject. It should be pretty obvious that to me, the most important thing right now is to make sure that egotistical asshole never sets foot in the White House. They're nowhere near as mechanically deep as AC, honestly. They're more like a hack-and-slash. Any given Head will have the same stats at any given upgrade level, but some have one or two special features, the same applies to all main parts. The shield on Alecto has a triple particle cannon as an added feature, for example.

Weapons vary a bit more, since there's a few different movesets for each melee category and a couple firing modes available for each ranged category, with certain weapons having exclusive access to some attacks, like the Twin Buster Rifle from Wing Gundam. But they're fun and they have great customization. GB3 was the first one to get a full English translation, for the Asia regional release, and thankfully Sony did one thing right by staying region-free. I wasn't the biggest fan of Armored Core 5 either. Verdict Day was an improvement, but not enough of one. Honestly I just want to return to the style of 3 through Nexus, both the gameplay and tone. I think she may also be targeting Virginia specifically - before Obama won the state, it was solidly Republican for about 40 years. Keeping Virginia also makes the electoral college math harder for Trump. |

About the only quasi-coherent point I was able to find in it was that he's convinced he does so much to help us. All that useless fucker does is ask for money and make a mess. I've tried picking it up a few times, but it never really sticks anymore. I still have an idea bouncing around in my head for a vaguely Diablo-ish balance conversion scaled for smaller groups (or even solo play), but that'd take a lot of rebalancing and I don't know how to adjust those files. I think it involves decompiling and recompiling code for the skills.

The quests bit would be tedious but relatively easy, since those are pretty intuitive text files, same for mob spawns. Not sure about mob stats though. (restricted) |
