| I actually didn't have a mic on, usually don't play with it on for some reason.
I did alright sniping, the Barrett was doing good for me on that game on Overgrown. I've come to really like the M40 though (yes, the first sniper. the range and accuracy is amazing for it, just have to make sure the hits count. But that's no problem in Hardcore ...) |

I saw it last night and it was probably one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Everything about it was incredible. I can't believe how intense it was either. Spoiler: It was definitely sad to see everyone die but you have to admit, that was pretty original. It wasn't a typical ending with the two lovers escaping and living happily ever after and whatnot. Did Lily surive in the other helicopter? What the hell were the small monsters and what happens when they bite people? Where did the monster come from? Who found the tape? WHAT HAPPENED AFTER!? All these questions, truly made it amazing. I believe a DVD release will be amazing, watching a home video styled movie on a regular TV will probably be spooky. However, the DVD release could also completely ruin the movie in my opinion ... if they do some stuff with it. Like including behind the scenes, deleted scenes, monster sketches, etc ... the movie is perfect as it is and should be left alone. If they include stuff like that, it'll utterly ruin the mystery and novelty behind the film. And obviously, there should be no sequel. We need more movies like this, that leave things up to our own imagination and that don't show us absolutely everything. (Last edited by XeoLVII on 01-19-08 08:02 PM)

Yeah, it's best to use Steam. Not even sure if the original CS alone works by itself ... which could be why you can't play it. |

Pretty sure you just download Steam, then you can probably download CS and use your CDkey or something and from then on you won't need the CD. Pretty sure you might even get a bunch of Half-Life games with it too.

And Steam's getting pretty huge, so it can't hurt to have (their library of games is really growing and it's just great not having to worry about CD's, purchasing games whenever you want, etc).

Alright, I think I've said it before somewhere else once or so, but I've been unemployed for about 3 months now. Well, I just got back from an interview for this place that "sounded" good but it was just bad vibes everywhere. I met the manager, founder, and president of the company and while they all seemed "nice", it didn't sound very promising and I'm not sure if I'd like it there. They were very strict about my applicaiton and references was a huge deal for them, me with only one previous job was made out to be a very unexperienced person in their eyes, judging from all their questions and whatnot. So I don't know. It's a medical supply packaging place / warehouse type thing, I'd be getting about $3 more than what I was getting paid, but from the vibe and everything I got it just seemed bad. I can fallback on my previous job and probably get a raise (my old boss wants me back), I think a raise and with all the time off it might be easier to go back there ... Jiffy Lube. I just needed a break from two and half straight years of working there I guess. What would you guys do? | ||||||||||||||||||||
