For the past couple days I've been watching Smokey and the Bandit. At least, that's what's in the PS2 when I don't have anything else to watch and I just turn it on.

Gotta love cheesy '70s trucking movies.

Just got back from renting videos. Am watching One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest now since Zoso's never seen it before.

Earlier we watched the 1962 version of Lolita and Joe Versus the Volcano.

Still have Star Trek: Generations to watch.

Did you spot the Hidden Mickey during the song "Poor unfortunate soul"?

Read the contract on 5:18, keep pressing pause throught the entire contract.

Its basically a bunch of bullshit. But you can see the little Hidden Mickey within that contract.

Nope I couldn't find it. It went too fast even when I paused it every so often. XD

Am watching "Iceman," this movie about finding a Neanderthal frozen in ice in Canada/Alaska, unfreezing him and discovering that he's alive and so on. The whole movie's an exploration of humanity.

The ending's beautiful.

Watching Pleasantville on TV. I'm slightly surprised that they're actually playing this on network television right now considering some of the themes and things that happen in it.

Then again there are worse things that they've put on.

Yay, triple post score!

The new Sarah Connor Chronicles show is on the tube. I saw the pilot episode (what's on right now) a few months ago. They've since changed a couple scenes, but it's pretty much the same thing.

I dunno, I was interested in it a while back, but for some reason I feel so horribly unimpressed like this is just going to die a sad Fox-Network death.

Just watched 3:10 to Yuma... It was pretty cool! My parents said "It could have been better" and "that's all?!" at the end, and I kinda agree with them, because i would have liked to see how the ranch faired and what happened to Mr.Wade.

Judge Alex is on right now. I pretty much have the TV on as background noise while I'm at the computer.

It's one of those small claims court TV shows, like Judge Judy or The People's Court. People come in with some sort of inane lawsuit, duke it out, and Judge Alex decrees that both are idiots, puts out his verdict and the parties proceed to duke it out again in the lobby for the cameras.

Duuuuuude. If you liked Grindhouse...

EDIT: It's 12:16 p.m. and I just finished watched The Gods Must Be Crazy. People really need to see that flick. It's wonderful.

So I saw the Dragonlance animated movie... I have to say that I was disappointed in it. The animation was horrendous!

Other than that I have seen The Jerk, an old Steve Martin movie, and it is hilarious. Also saw the first half of Hannibal Rising, I was really enjoying it until my mom called bitching so much that I just gave up and went home to shut her up.

Just finished American Splendor. It was pretty sweet.

The Simpsons is on right now. It's the one about the nuclear plant outsourcing to India and Patti and Selma kidnaps Richard Dean Anderson.

Reno 911: Miami just came in today from Netflix.

Rebel Without a Cause is in he DVD player. I can't figure out what people love so much about this movie. It's probably just the James Dean fanatics.

The movie also cements my dislike for anything Natalie Wood has ever done. She's the Liv Tyler of the '50s.

Since Brandon and I got some other movies from the library, I may switch this out for either Man from La Mancha, Kung Fu Mah Jong 2, or a collection of German horror films from the '30s.

From last night through today we watched Kung Fu Hustle, Green Snake Big Boobs Buster (seriously this wasn't a porn and we were sold on the idea that it might be a funny Japanese film. Japanese it was. Entertaining at all? Nope), and Shadow of the Vampire.

Just finished watching Kush Kush Hota Hai and am now watching Sun giu yu gwai. The first was a Bollywood movie, pretty much about this guy realizing he was in love with his best friend from college. The second is a Chinese film that seems to be about some oddball people who fall for each other.

Zoso/Brandon's watching "Cooking with Coolio," and I'm kinda paying more attention to that than the movie.

EDIT: Am watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles season finale now. Meh, it's all right.

Am currently a little more than halfway through The Banquet. Pretty much it's Hamlet applied to Imperial China with Ziyi Zwang as a Queen Gertrude-like character. It's all right. Not a masterpiece or anything, but it's nice to look at.

Before that I watched The Day After Tomorrow. No offense, but that's a terrible movie.

In the last day I also watched Stranger Than Fiction, Cool Hand Luke, and Kung Fu Mahjong.
