Without fear, sorrow or remorse, the Serpant marched into the forefront, his longsword still sheathed as he chanted.

"Eloi eloi, Sancte Deos...
I am the Messenger of Death, the eternal servant of the Lord, and his warth is bore from me! Sinners! Prepare to e judged!"

His arms reached into the sky, and a dark miasma encapsulated him, and became opaque. It then took form, and moved away from him. As it moved, the 15 foot tall banshee assumed the form of a woman, in rags and cloth, wielding a gigantic pair of what seemed to be curved, crescent bladed scissors; like someone made them out of two massive scythes. The Serpant chuckled to himself. The real carnage was about to begin.

Freya looked at Allard. "I think the spearman should have thier chance with the cover of the archers." She gripped her spear. "Allard, this would've been better if we had the chance to hide ourselves."

A messanger was beckoned down from the wall, running to Allard quickly.

"My leige! They have summoned a titan to rip down our gates!" He said, fear in his voice. He was sweating and blood was spilled on his shirt, showing a comrade had been hit.

Allard laughed. "Alright, tell Kael to bring the archers down here to meet with us. Also, have them open the gate as soon as we're assured it's going to break through. Until then, Freya, we join Fardog in the front."

Guy sat atop his horse, watching the battle patiently. He didn't like the pace of the battle, and the one magical archer was giving his forces a hard time. He dismounted, giving watch of his horse to his squire. He walked up to Dveris' horse, fingering Frieden.

"I feel suspicious. Why would the enemy leave only archers for us to deal with?"

In the swarm of flying arrows, he let loose a number of devistating arrows. Inbetween him taking cover, with the odd feeling that he was a target, he glanced to the side, and saw a figure flying toward him.
Subcounciously, he placed an arrow in the nook, but left the pull loose on the string, when he noticed it was just a soldier.

"Kael! Allard wishes for the archers to meet with him. Withdraw!" He said quickly, hiding behind another archer as they kept cover. Kael almost couldn't believe what he heard, untill he noticed the hulking form of a titan in the horizan... And he started to peice the plan together already.

"Very well. Archers! Pull back to teh Leige! Allard summons!" Quickly, he ran hunched over, as he placed the oak greatbow back onto his quiver, and made his way toward the exit ladder, the archers following one by one. Before long, he had met up with Allard, a safe distance from the sword, and did his half bow to show respect.

"Allard. I noticed the Titan... I assume I already know the plan, but please, breif us on your command."

"Well, I can tell you know already. I want the archers ready to let fire on the Titan the second it gets in here. Every inch of it should be laced with arrowfire. However, I'm worried about keeping the enemy army in check while we fight it. If they try anything, I'm going to need some of you all to scale the wall over with me. We'll leave the archers here no matter what happens."

Allard stared at the gate, churning stratedgies in his mind. Quite the pondery he has here.

"If I may make a suggestion, Allard." He kept his small bow held, showing his respect. "It may be wiser to leave a larger percent of our archery unity to defend the walls, while a smalle unit of my fasters archers remain here, to deal with the Titan. I believe my bow will leave it devistated, as if the entire unit had attacked at once. Thus proper defense my occure."

"Lift your head, Kael. Respect is nothing I want shown to me. I agree with your idea. However, send half up back to reinforce the wall, half down here. I don't want to take any chances."

Allard nodded at Kael, patting him on the shoulder. They were working on a time restraint.

Kael brought his gaze back to Allard as he stood his full height. And for a moment, he glanced at him, before turning quickly, and began gesturing his hands, while giving commands.

Quickly, archery troops where rushing back to their posts, others remained still. Quickly, a large defensive barrier of bows was created as a line of two was formed. the front line kneelign with their bows aimed at the front door, while the back row stood firm, aimed. Kael stood in the middle of the cresent formation, his own bow aimed. He had no one infront of him.

"The time comes... Ready your arrows my troops!"

Chris hopped off his horse strapping on all of his weapons...

"GO PYRO BREAKER GO!"
Chris draws and throws the Breaker over the wall to land 10 meters behind the front gate.

The Dart explodes throwing shrapnal and flame in all directions.

Chris Draws Guilty Light and it bursts into flames he rushes and stands next to the Serpant.

::Jiang looked at the walls, then to the wraith, then to Serpent dismounting his horse and slapping it on the rear, sending it running off into the forest, just far enugh to be out of harms way, but within range for the summoning wistle. Jiang walked up to Guy, pulling the hood back from his head and standing side by side with him, stareing at the battlefield::

I agree, something seems amiss. Their archers are far more organized then our own.

::Jiang shot the archers a gleem, causeing them all to fall back into line, arrows ready to draw back. Jiang then looked at Dveris, nodding to him as he drew his sword::

This battle will fall into our favor once the infintry get down there. Just give me the word Guy. And I will lead my men to victory.

::Jiang again focused his attetion to the battle field, the sound of his hand tightening around his hilt could be heard by the men around him, ready for battle, Jiang grew impatiant, and blood-hungry::

As the archers pulled back, Dveris could only come to one conclusion. they wouldn't just stop, and the greater force was the titan.

"Withdraw the titan." He suddenly said to Guy, "Make it use hit and run techniques, leaving my archers to keep those attacking him under cover for a limited time. Also, you should have Chris concentrate on the gate. It should be made of wood, and as a result, he can use his fire to burn it down while the titan weakens it."

Dveris looked towards the archers, "Cease your fire, we will take this opportunity to move into and even better firing range, so that if any archer shows himself, they can be dead in seconds."

It wailed, and with the fury of a million tormented souls, the horrid abominatin that the Serpant conjured ripped through the infantry forces, cutting them apart by the masses, then turned to the large door barring the Crusaiders from the rest of the fight, and began hacking it apart, splinters of wood flying hither and yon. The Serpant merely starred as he beast began the game of death.

Joan stared at the oncoming forces, she was upset with Guy's remark, she did not want to sound like the Pope. Sure she respected him, but she did not want to be like him. Her eyes daintily surveyed the battlefield. The creature was doing a large amount of damage. While dismounting, she retreived her staff and swords. Spectre des la Sacre Feminin was placed on her back, crossing under Ecstacy. Fury and Anguish were set at either of her sides, and Torment was found under the tunic in a leg strap. Her eyes took in the battle. Upon taking in all of the attacks she formulated a plan which would work for her, should she stay in her resent state of mind. Out of nowhere, a single stray arrow came towards her. She was hit directly in the chest, but the arrow merely broke off when it came in contact with her chainmail. A fury built inside of her. Her eyes shone brightly. She took all of the spare hair she could gather quickly and tied it back. This quick action left a few strands of her bangs lying about her face. Pulling Fury and Anguish from their sheaths she began walking forward. The beast was a good ways down the hill and attacking the wall. With a sudden Roar, all allied arrows sped towards the enemy, gaining a one instance longer range and increase in power. And the enemy arrows that were being sent were blown apart. Her roar shook the walls and splintered the gate, leaving a massive crack along a seam. A few more attacks from the beast and it would be broken open. She continued on her way, rage building inside of her, and she intended on reaching the gate by the time the demon broke it down. After her roar the archers all but disappeared and an insane silence was only broken by the crushing sound the demon made when it came in contact with the gate. Some of the archers returned and began firing once more, they did not seem to be targetting her though.

Dolfax led the civilians away, they were protected under him, he would not let any die. Suddenly his rather prescise ears picked up the chaos that ensued just two-hundred yards away. He could hear the arrows, the sound of crushing damage being done to something wooden. He growled lightly and ushered the civilians before him, he would bring up the rear so that they would not get harmed. A little while later after passing another hundred yards or so, he picked up on a frightening roar coming from the wrong direction, something about the roar was familiar, and a gust of wind blew at his hair. A loud crack was heard, even by the less gifted in hearing. He grasped tightly onto his sword. A sigh came escaped his lips as he turned and continued to follow. In his rage of not being able to help, he punched a tree. A dent was made in the wood of the tree. Dolfax continued on, his teeth clenched in rage.

*Tara lead the civilians from the front of the line, her uneasiness causing her senses to pick up the slightest of sounds. Battle raged behind them, and the fate of her cousin was unknown for she dare not use her magic to scry at this moment. At the sound of Dolfax's outbreak she turned sharply in alarm. Seeing what it really was she waited for the line to pass and spoke with him as he reached her*

"You must hold your temper, nobel Dolfax. I know that you long for battle, but do not bring it upon us. Our road is dangerous, and you were sent with us for protection. Action shall be seen soon enough."

*Tara turned her horse to head towards the front of the lines when a small charm around her neck began to glow and a voice emitted from the jewel*

"Donella Tara, it is Brother Samuel. We have learned that Fort Brenethor is targeted by the Pope's Army, are you alright?"

*Tara lifted the jewel nearer to her mouth* "Yes, Samuel, I am fine. We are leading the citizens to safety in the capital and barely escaped the battle in time."

"Oh, that is a relief, Donella. The Brotherhood has some agents along that route... Brother Mathius and Sister Christine in the towns of Varnus and Holbreth to be exact. I am sure that they will be able to provide you with food and any supplies you may need. I shall send word to them at once!"

"I thank you, Brother Samuel. The assistance of the Brotherhood is greatly appriciated. Are you not glad now that I had these message charms made?"

"Indeed, my lady, I am. I wish only that Mathius and Christine had them as well. For them I must result to mundane means. God speed, Donella Tara."

"You as well, Samuel."

Allard knew he didn't have time to leave the gate up much longer, so he signaled it be open. The guards opened it and he dismounted, sending his horse off. He drew his blades with a flash of steel and focus, beginning his dash forward.

"FIRE AND CHARGE!!" Allard screamed. The archers let loose on the Titan. Every arrow caused splatters in it's forms, but did not seem to inhibit it. However, it revelead within it's chest area a beating purple heart, one that seemed to fuel itself.

The foot soldiers charged out from the door past the Titan, charging at the Crusaders with bloodlust.

OOC: Here you go, an example of PvP battling.

"Freya, hit the pyromaniac!" Allard focuses energy into his swords and dashes forward faster than any of the foot soldiers could see, swords crossed before him. He went to slash Joan in the torso, but was promptly blocked. He looked at her rage fueled and muttered "Excuse me, miss, but you're cute when you're angry." Joan growled lightly and he felt a shockwave rip from her, causing him to lose his nonchalantness. Joan swung her swords at him after freeing them and two began clashing swords. Allard was the superior double sword weilder, to be sure, but Joan's feriocity made her quite the foe. Guy looked over to see the two dueling and he turned to Dveris and Jiang.

"You two, do your bloody jobs and lead those men to war!" He drew his rapier and charged at the duel, however he was blocked by charging troops."Move damnit!" Guy yelled, climbing through the wave of men. As this was happening, a stray elf charged at Joan, scimitar drawn. Joan, locked in battle, had only one sword available to skewer the man. However, that meant she now had a blade and a pointy carcass shield. For a few minutes, Joan used the dead elf's corpse a secondary defense against Allard, who wished to harm the man. She then stabbed her other blade through the elf's carcass in an attempt to hit Allard. This was blocked, but Allard was promptly disgusted as Joan kicked the body off her swords and onto his. He moved away from the corpse, noticing Joan left her swords in the man's body. With naught but a second to spare, he looked up to meet a rapier flying at his face. He blocked it with his shoulderguard, throwing her off balance. When he thought he had her exposed and a sitting target, he let loose a powerful slash. He felt metal hit metal and saw Guy blocking the slash with his rapier. Things just got quite a bit harder.

"Hell, the more the merrier, right?" Guy joked. Allard cursed and began a frantic dance-like defense as the two warriors pelted him with rapier slashes. He knew he couldn't last much longer, so he tried a risky manuever. He did an amazingly fast 360 spin, throwing both rapier's out of the user's hands.Joan's rapier hit Guy's and caused it to launch away, maiming two warriors fighting each other. "Got to get that." Guy ran off to get the sword, but could not return to the battle, as he was swarmed by magical creatures.

Allard thought he had won, and went to finish Joan off with a downward slash, when he was greeted with an off-balancing strike from her staff. She giggled as he struggled to regain his footing, and when he looked fot her after doing so, she had dissapeared into the crowd troops. He cursed and looked around as Crusaders began moving in towards him. Time to cut up some pigs.

Joan's eyes were wide and cheerful. She had just gotten away from one meanie who hoped to hurt her, but was surrounded by many more making her face contort into a pout. She hit several fellows with her staff, knocking them off her feet, and did a jumping cartwheel staff spinning in her hand knocking even more soldiers to the ground. Care was not part of her vocabulary at this point, and she smacked aside crusader and Magical creature alike. She pulled the tie out of her hair, and retied it, in a cuter fashion...Pigtails, very short spiky pigtails. A smile spread across her face whent he night sky gave her the idea to start dancing. She began a rain dance, she really wanted it to rain, it would be pretty! She began dancing cutely in circles, humming lightly to herself and showing her childish grace off by making no noise with her footsteps. her staff, however, was being used as a pole to dance around, and vault off of. Sending her flying through the air with a well placed stab of the staff and jump. People, were now her dance floor. She leapt from person to person, hitting others in the process, and making her way happily across the field. It mattered not to her who she was hurting, she was just playing. If they were to have whined, she would have called them "stupid head babies" or some other approriately childish term. how Joan did it, no one would know, but she managed not only to survive in this manner, but hurt people too. She found the last person to dance on at the edge of the battle and began tearing up. It seemed as if her fun was over so she stepped lightly up the hill a bit and stared at the stars. But not before she unintentionally(Maybe) broke the last man's neck by leaping off him a little too powerfully.

Saving his arrow, Kael put some slack on his bow as he charged to the side, around the battle that began to form within the walls of the fortress. To the right side of the fort, he climbed upward, using a combination of his ranger days, and pure strength to climb the stone sides, up to one of the towers not so high upward past the main entrence. He quickly lodged his foot and back in place, just off center of the main enterence, and took aim.

The purple heart...

Kael's eyes thinned as his bow pulled back, half sitting on stone slab, and released. The arrow shot forth, and spun, gathering it's wind power, shooting forth. Within the moment of the arrow realese, the tip peirced through the beating heart of the Titan, and exploded as the arrow left, leaving a small vaccum of air in it's wake. The Titan's howl was massive as it's steps continued in it's maddening frenzy, untill it's realization that it had died just a moment ago.

Soon, the creature fell, crushing anyone under the fall.

They should have listened, Dveris thought. He told them to use hit and run techniques with the titan. Because of their not listening, their greatest asset, most powerful ally, was dead. He just hoped the pope would come along soon, replacing the titan.

He shouted, "You heard the man Jiang, lead the infantry! CHARGE!"

Followed by the cavalry, using himself as a point, Dveris charged forward, hacking and slashing at any foe, not stopping to make sure he was really dead. He lead many of his horsemen into a circle, causing them to surround a large group of the enemies. "Kill the ones we have surrounded!" he shouted, and his troops began closing in on the enemy, massively outnumbering them.
