| So I've noticed a tendency this month for random possessions to vanish when I finally need them. For example, I was nearly tripping over my NWN game for months; but now that I want to play it I can't find it anywhere. Until today my red nailpolish was doing the same, but at least I found that one.
But yeah... so has anyone else had random things vanish on them? |

| For me it's when random things appear once they've become obsolete.
At the end of last semester when I was selling my books, I couldn't sell back my $100 art textbook because it was missing the stupid CD (that no one ever uses) and I also couldn't sell my geology book because it needed the study-guide that goes with it (which also no one ever uses). This last week, I found both, but book buyback was over. What's more after asking them if they'd buy them back, they said they'd see, but suddenly I couldn't find my art or geology book. Well, on another level, Zoso's little sister lost her cellphone. |

| I've had pens vanishing on me for months now. I used to have pens and pencils
galore in my pockets at all times, now, nothing. It's rather disconcerting really. I'm used to always having a writing utensil readily at hand. Other than that not much. *shrugs* |

As for things vanishing...nothing has really vanished, but I have found quite a bit of stuff of mine at my mom's house lately.. when I haven't lived with my mom since August... XD |

Does losing sleep count? Cause I've been losing a LOT of sleep lately. And the lack of writing implements is getting irritating as well. I've also been misplacing random small items like car key's, packs of gum that kinda thing. |

It might mean that the reason you lost everything is because you are considered as a "bad" omen, and while who haven't lost anything yet was tested upon (like me) are somewhat considered a "good" omen. Just a theory by the way. Heck, I thought I was missing a nickel but it was just in my wallet. Of course, I know a person I lend a pencil to and she forget to give it back doesn't mean I lost it. | I suddenly realized another one that fits the missing part: my period.
I know I'm not pregnant, all the times in the last 2 months were protected and nothing broke, but I'm 2 weeks late and with me being a HUGE hypocondriac, I'm of course stressing (well, that and about 50 other things either having to do with schoolwork, classes, the magazine, and the lack of money). Everyone's been reassuring me that I'm not, but I can't shake the worries.

| Stress alone will do that to you, but if you want to make sure that your not just go down to the drug store and get a home test. It puts your mind at ease seeing the negative result and then you calm down a bit.
I'd still see a doctor about it though. |

I just lost something important to work, The master key to the school....
I got called down to the office this morning and the vice principal mr frasier told me that he's heard from multiple sources that teachers and other staff are upset that I have a school master when they dont, he says that it's because of my own protection that he toulk it. >.< everything's falling apart. |

Thanks for the insight. I just worry about pregnancy tests being wrong. If you think you're pregnant enough, it can trick your hormones into thinking so and not only do you start to experience the symptoms, it comes up positive on pregnancy tests. I'm the kinda freak that waits 'til it comes. I'm too chicken shit to get tested for these sorts of things for fear that it'd be true. |

| A few weeks ago I lost two of my thumbdrives it was a 512mb and a 256mb, I just found them this morning, when I found them the first though that went through my head was, " I really need to check pockets before I throw pants in the wash" because I just got a nice warm pair of pants out of the dryer and I found both of them in my pocket, the second thought "Oh shit, Water mixed with electronics = disaster" surprisingly they both still work which is a relief, I had some important things on those

| Wow, that is lucky! But yes, I think this is indeed a sign to check pockets before tossing pants in the wash. I'd still make a backup of the important files on there just in case the drives break down soon. |
