I am basing this RP off of this really kickass anime that I stumbled across. I don't know too much about it, being as I've only seen three episodes, and I'm not worried about learning more about this for the RP, because I'm only taking the basic idea from it. Though the anime itself isn't complicated, it may not end up being my own anyway...That link above is a link to some information on the anime for anyone interested. I expect to see quite a bit of PMs about this RP, for those who are interested. **shrugs** There just may be some extra little plot twists that someone can come up with and we could discuss it there without ruining it for everyone else. Anywho...in this story Hades is simply a place where people go when they die. It's not heaven or hell. Whatever happens when people go there isn't really relevant, unless someone wishes it to be. Story: There is a group called "The Ministry of Hades", which is an organization that handles supernatural cases in the natural world. They send out orperatives (in pairs) these cases. Each pair must share a special and close bond. All characters that are part of the ministry are dead. However, they still seem human. They eat, sleep, bleed...still feel as though they were alive. Each character also has special abilities. Each one can transform into a ghost form (simply turning invisible, able to move through things, and go undetected by the human world). They also all have their own abilities, some may include some extreme form of martial arts, magic, summoning dieties, extra sensory abilities...(We all can sense things, but have our limits). Cases: In the beginning, each pair will be working on their own case. We all still may know one another, however, and interact with each other throughout the story. Eventually though, we will all be working together to stop the same evil force. I'm not assigning any specific cases until I get some participants and all of the pairs are made. I want everyone to have a say in what goes on here. These cases are just issues dealing with the supernatural world that have crossed over to the human world and pose a threat to the humans. So basically we're all like a sort of police force. In these cases, it could be anything. We could be dealing with a force that really is evil...but some of the cases will simply be something gone astray in the supernatural world. There is one evil force behind it all though. Whether your case deals with some kind of "badguy" or not though, it is all being manipulated by the main villan. Then eventually we all need to come together to stop this villan, blah blah blah...:p The reason for this, is that those of us who are the operatives, we're supposed to be elite and are the only thing standing in this "bad guy's" way. Characters: Each participant can be multiple characters (limit is two though, unless I don't feel we have enough people playing, then some may have more. I'll be able to decide that later.) The catch is...only ONE of your characters (if any) can be an operative. The other character needs to be someone else, such as a member of the ministry(the head of the ministry, secretary...any other position that someone can come up with), a villan of some sort, of something involved in the cases. I would also like to have someone play the main villan (that player is still permitted to have another character, but not an operative). Once I have a volunteer for that role, I'll be PMing you and we'll discuss some ideas with that there. Remember, if you are part of the ministry, you are dead. Those part of the cases can be either or. You could be a human who was manipulated into being involved by something. **shrugs** and the main villan is also dead but "human-like" just like the rest of the ministry. When people start submitting characters, I would like the usual, age(nothing extremely young please...16 and up I would ask**Teehee, I know I usually don't like playing "adults" myself since I'm in no rush to grow up, so I'll allow other people who feel the same to be satisfied**), gender, name, appearance, and possibly some background on your life, how you died, how long you've been in the ministry(eg: one of the main charries in the anime is like 26, but has been dead for 70 years...you could also be new as well.) Once people start responding to me, I ultimately will be choosing the partners, but I want everyone to be happy, so I will take requests, but I want them PMed to me please. Name: Leon Reno Sex: Male Age: 24 (+being dead for 57 years(This is assuming that this is taking place in current time)) Appearance: Straight Black hair, parted over the left side, and to his chin on all sides. He has a pale complexion and ice blue eyes, they actually seem to be more grey than blue at times. He has soft features, but he is by no stretch of the imagination weak. He is usually wearing a black suit coat, black dress-shirt, Black Jeans, Black boots, and a red tie, if any. When he prepares for jobs of any sort, he usually puts a black beanie on his head, dark circle glasses, a black scarf, black gloves and a dark grey overcoat. It seems like a lot of black, but his profession seems to demand it. Histoy: Leon was the perfect assassin. A cold killer in a time when war wrought this earth. His mission was to kill those who were not wanted. Or wanted dead. Paid good money from his native home in Britain, he made a living, ending the lives of drug dealers, and rich bastards all the same. He became well-known for his skill when WWII broke out, and him being 19 he was able to join the war. But this he did not do. At least not yet. He moved to America, and continued his business, since they had not been hit by the war yet, he continued to make money, killing and stealing money from those he killed. He was notoriously good at his job, utilising his standard Luger for style shots. To let everyone know it was him, that Leon 'The Squall' Reno was there, and killing anything he was paid to kill. He knew the trade, he knew how to kill a man, he knew how to scope a room out, and he knew what to use when. He was a merciless man, and when the ill tidings of Pearl Harbor came about, he was drafted, right into the center of the war. Put in a bunker in the French lines, and defeated by an aerial strike on the week following his landing. Carpet Bombing. Not even the Squall could survive that... A man like Leon would have to cope with death, a lot. Always taking life, being a god to the world, deciding who lived and who died, it was a rough business. But death was foreign. And he was out of a job. Still, oddly enough, he went to the underworld...Hades, with everything he held dear, especially his Customised Luger. He planned on the life of killing. Still killing and doing what he did best. Stopping life. The ministry took an interest in his life, and decided that they could use him in their group. He was immensely happy when offered such an important honor. And he trained, trained and trained. This new world would allow him to make himself better than ever. The best around, the best alive...erm...dead. His powers began fermenting almost instantly, his senses and judgements amplified. He could take aim with a handgun from three city blocks away and hit a moving target. He also began having odd premonitions. He could actually tell the future to some extent, but these came sporatically, at least...until he got someone to teach him how to do so. Age: 22 (dead for 12 years) Appearance: Brown hair that is tied into a ponytail that reaches halfway down his back, and relatively short in the front. He has a lot of bangs however, but none reach past his eyes. He always wears a simple white dress shirt, black jacket and black dress pants, no matter the occasion. History: Jack just died. He really wasn't ready for death at all, but he knew there was no use complaining. He had been walking down a crowded NYC street when a bank robbery unfolded. The Good Samaritin he was, he chased after the robbers, catching one. As he chased after the second, a bullet hit him square in the lung, killing him. If he had had is handgun on him, he might still have been alive. When Jack was alive, he was a writer, constantly enjoying the ability to travel the world and try new things. He picked up many skills and languages as he went about, gaining a truely sophisticated outlook on humanity and it's quirks. When Jack died, he realized he had enjoyed the last moments of his life. He noticed the underworld had a ministry for law enforcement. He thought of it as a challenge and signed up after they offered a position to him. He didn't want rest in the afterlife. Jack instantly discovered his abilities. He had an agility and strength like no other. He could jump buildings and punch through walls. He had an uncanny ability to catch almost anyone he chased. His abilites helped him to a large extent in the ministry, which he noticed. Jack carries two pistols: Each .50 calibur. He doesn't have to worry about recoil. Age: 23 (dead 32 years) Appearance: long brown hair that has a messy look to it, 6 ' 2 medium build Blue eyes. He usually wears black camo pants and a black t'shirt to work and he usually wears whatever he could find that was clean before the fateful day History: Jobes was going to school to be a director and was starting his own Film Business called Blahness Pictures. He was also enlisted in the army already since he was in the ROTC program in his College. He was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Navy. He served his 4 years in the Navy and went back home to his film company. He was on a shoot in the middle of a desert. The weather was fine but all of a sudden a lightning bolt struck Jobes and killing him. When Jobes reached Hades he was approached by two ghost-like figures. They told him to follow them and that he has been chosen to join a law enforcement but he wasn't told why he was chosen. He knew he was in the navy and was in a secret navy seal program that went in and rescued hostages and did recon over certain areas for days at a time. Name: Sajin Gorotto Nickname: Heartless Age: 24 (Dead for 30 years) Height: 6’11 Sex: Male Appearance: Sajin has no hair, however his eyebrows are a light silver color. His eyes are a light blue and a little glossed with feelings of determination. Sajin is also extremely strong in physical strength, his arms, torso, legs, and other areas are rippled with a massive growth of muscles. When he works, he wears no shirt to show his work of his body to his foes to scare them. However on his lower body, he wears simple tight jeans to constrict comfort and to access mobility. He also always wears steel toed boots for combat using his feet. He never wears any type of armor for protection; he needs as much speed as possible to make up for the weight of his muscles. History: Sajin died of an assassination virus known as FOXDIE. He was working undercover one day to rescue the President of Kenya’s daughter but to only be confronted by the murderer that was affected by the virus. Sajin quickly put an end to the murderer but to only discover extreme pain from within himself due to the virus, his heart exploded several minutes later. He is nicknamed ‘Heartless’ because of the fact that he no longer has a heart. He discovered “The ministry of Hades” as a gift for attempting to rescue the President’s daughter, however first declined the offer, he began to discover channels of certain types of Energys from all around him, shortly discovering this power, he quickly Join the Ministry for law enforcement in the Spiritual world. Sajin’s discovered abilities are to channel the energies around him to enhance his muscles. The range he calls “percentage” determines how much energy he can hold inside his body to use while in a case; Defense of Offence. Sajin doesn’t use weapons. He uses the spiritual energy around him to only generate destructive energies that can be magnified to his will. He also carries with him bullets, seen how he dosent use guns, he can just flick them at his apponents at a greater velocity than what a normal .45 calibar dish out. | Alrighty...these are really kickass ideas going on here.
I still need more people, cuz yeah...there's quite a bit of character involvement I suppose. Though like I said, people can be more than one charrie, and if we're really in a pinch for charries, then people could be two major charries if they'd like, and then a few other minor. Just to remind everyone though. The "Ministry of Hades" isn't something you just say "Oh hey, this is cool. I'll join." When you die and are sent to Hades, they find you due to your exceptional abilities. Otherwise...if there's something about this anyone doesn't find interesting and think it should be changed, or something should be added and whatnot, let me know and we'll work toegther to pick out a final story before we start this. **shrugs** Everyone here has kickass imaginations and I love everything people come up with on this board.

'Course I'll have to reguest that info is PMed to me at that point, that way I can keep things organized as far as pairs are going...

| Alright. I'm gonna get this started sometime next week of the end of this weekend. (I have to go away for the weekend, but hopefully I'll get lucky and get to come back on Saturday or something...)
When I do, I'd like to kick things off pretty slow. Give time for character development and to get to know each other in the story. So when I start this, I won't have the partners made up, but I'll start taking requests now if anyone has any. Hopefully some more people will join once they see it in the RP Realm. I won't wait long before making up the partners, k? |

Name: Seren (sehr-in) Nickname: The Watcher Gender: Female Age: 35 (dead nearly 2000 years) Height: 5'11" Appearance: Her hair is long and almost a silvery white, and eyes deep cobalt blue. Her skin is not truly wrinkled, but weathered and worn... giving her a look of ageless, profound wisdom. She wears simple earth tone tunics and skirts along with a pure white robe when in her study/office. History: Seren was one of the last Druids in Wales at the time that the Romans invaded Anglesey in 61 CE and destroyed the monestaries there. She was killed in the battle and soon after was contacted by the Ministry. She is now Secretary of the Ministry and official Lorekeeper. Only she knows when and how she was promoted to a member of the Ministry from operative, it was so long ago that no one else remembers. It is Seren who greets and informs new operatives when they first arrive, and it is she that operatives seek out for any information they need. Seren posesses both keen eyesight and hearing, and it is said she has the power to summon the Celtic gods to her aid, but no one has seen this that still serves the Ministry today. She is the oldest remaining member of the Ministry, older than even the head... but she is content in her position. She lead once in life, and that was good enough for her. Here's the list so far: Elara Sajin Jobes Me Xeios Cairoi Esoteric (he PMed me about it) So...shall we wait and pray that another member joins? Should I make an exception and allow someone to create two charries that are operatives so we can start now? Or should I start it up, we can bullshit for a bit, like get really into our charries and the relationships between our charries and hope other people join and then have partners assigned in the RP? I need input here.
Btw, beautiful character ideas Elara. All of them are actually. One reason why I really wanna make this work. |

Age: 26 (Dead for 1,230 years) Height: 5'10 Sex: Male Appearance: Looking in his youth, Sety have green hair and eye, he was born from a noble family who once helped their leader to clear his framed name. He is very talented person and have the face that many people see as a couragous leader and an honorable opponent. History: After his mother died from a sickness, Sety vowed that he would find his father and curse his name. His father was known to be the leader's best friend, and the king of his country but when the leader suddenly died in the battle of Barhara, Sety's father ran away with his wife to avoid the hopeless counterattack. For about 10 years, Sety was raised after her mother. After she died, Sety went off to find his father, but was even involved with even more serious topic to deal with. A child-hunt. He saw that his land was taken over, and he was raised in the different town. Every villagers saw this hero figures that he could accomplishes more if he was to be a leader of Manster Liberation Army. Sety then help the aid of the foolish law. In the end, Sety was able to help everyone in the end, the Child Hunt was prevented which resulted in a turmoil for his enemy. Sety's job was finished, but his duty was not. He still have to help his father's best friend's son, Celice. And to met his father for one last time. He died shortly after Trachia 776 when he was suffering an deadly illness. |
