| Ok i just got this game today and i wonder what people think about it, if they saw the trailer or played the game or old games.
I bought it and im a huge Devil May Cry fan, i have all 3 games and i beat all of them in all the modes, hard as hell but fun over all, you build skill in flipping lol. Anyways i find this game way out and total diffrent from all the other games. I mean same weapons mostly, some new ones, and same old orbes and peices ect but small things make the game the best of all 3. This new DMC3 has metal music and more of a fun to it, a twist in the main character Dante. Now in the game there is great backround music. For example you fighting monsters and shit while you fight in this blood pumping game all a sudden heavy metal music breaks out that is perfect for the game, it gives such a rush that you just go insane with killing things. Jumping in the air firing double pistols into the skull of reapers heads while you land and jab a sword into there stomach and flip them into the air, shooting at them as they fly, while metal music plays. Its so kick ass! You just cant stop killing and trying new skills. Another new addition to the game is Styles. In the old ones they didnt have it but now you can be SwordMaster (One who uses and masters sword attacks), GunMaster (Master in pistols, shotguns...ect of long range), Trickster (Tease your enemies with fast sliding skills and matrix like moves), and RoyalGuard (use the enemies attacks to your advantage and get into a good position to attack). These might not sound like fun but its sweet. With swordmaster you rule with a sword. With gunmaster he can twist your arms all around your body mostly (Like Matrix Neo) and shoot everything rapidly. With trickster you move so fast the enemy cant hit you, and well with RoyalGuard i dont care much for it...you block. Anyways those are some new skills that rule. Also they added somthing i cannot belieave! (DJROC will know this item) If anyone read Beuwolf there is an item in the game named after him, called...Beuwulf. Its these arm gauntlets of pure light that rape monsters! They are uber fun! Also another weapon Is Cerbus (Such as the 3 headed dog in Hades). You have to defeat a 3 headed dog named Cerbus to get the weapon and it rapes! They added some others but i havent gotten to them yet, ill beat the game by tomarrow tho most likely and then move onto Hell and Hean, and Kill Dante Mode. The graphics are also great, plus the voice of Dante is perfect. Hes a young cocky idiot like Dante of the past. His younger teen like self, its great. Plus it pulls Devil May Cry together, because this game takes place before Dante was his true serious self. In this one hes a kid, acts like it, and fights like it (Which is still cool). Over all i give this game so far a 4.5/5 and might make it higher once i play more, its hard to kill bosses tho watch out but over all its perfect for me. |
