| No, not moderators, I mean 'modifications'. People have done such things as make a piece-o-crap dance pad and making it into a high class foam and/ or metal dance pad.
My personal favorites are my shoes. Although I got these things 2 years ago, and they are in terrible condition, I covered the bottom with duct tape (as to fix the holes) and spray painted them orange. Worked like a charm! |

| I guess my EL Blade would fit this category. A simple wooden long sword, some EL wire around the blade part and I have myself a battery powered glowing sword. Makes for a nice prop. | |||

I usually just throw something away if its broken, old or has holes in it  but I do, sometimes, put my own patterns, marterial etc on my jeans  I learnt how to do it in my fashion class, very useful.
I've now got a very groovy pair of jeans  |

I'm making a land gondala with bicycle wheels and a buch of excess wood from a motorcycle shop. I'm also going to carpet it with milk crates and carpet it with carpet being thrown away by the people down the street who are moving. When I'm done, I'll post a pic of it. |

| The shoe thing reminds me of my friend who works at the movie theater by the local mall, every day after work he scrapes the popcorn-sticky fluid-unidentified sludge off of his shoes with a pocket knife or scissors.
As for me, I had help with it, but had a 7 1/2' zanbatou for a while that was a rake handle with cardboard, duct tape and lots of silver spraypaint. There' also my Half Platinum Gamecube, which involved me and coloring with a silver sharpie. I'm going to make a keytar out of the mini keyboard in my possesion right now, I think I'll use plastic and melt it on with a clothing iron, that worked for other plastic in the past. That is if I don't have a hot glue gun. |

| Hmmm....**thinks for a moment** I don't know if they'd count really, because I don't do anything spectacular really...but I usually recycle things that I have...as in if something was made with a lot of wood, but it lost its purpose, I'd use the wood to build a shelf or something...Otherwise I haven't really thought about making personal mods. | |||

| I love modifying things. One of my personal favorites is a knife that my brother gave me last Christmas. It was kind of awkward to hold in your pocket because it didn't fold or have a sheathe. So I made a sheathe out of black cloth and acrylic glue. |
