You've finished your training with the Supreme Trainer and walk away very confident in your skills. So confident, in fact, that while strutting and admiring your achievement with your eyes closed you fail to notice an armored palace guard coming around a corner and bump into him. You open your eyes to see a disgruntled soldier who looks a bit moody. "Hey! Whaddaya think you're doing?!" he yells as he draws out his partisan. "Watch where you're going, you fool! I should smite you right here and now for such an atrocity!" You think he's going just a bit overboard on the psycho-ship for such a small incident. Do you take him up for his challenge or not? Pat had backed up enough to grab a tomato from a fruit vendors stand, and hurled it at the guard's face, hoping his accuracy would obscure the guard's vision and maybe the citric acid in the tomato would burn his eyes. | [Well, it seems whatever I typed somehow wasn't edited into the thread. I'm sorry about that. Number 8 is there now. And don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong.]
The guard puts up his arm to block this time and the torch is not able to get passed. However, some of the material inside came loose and flew away from the source, hitting his body. | As the guard is distracted by embers and acid, Pat springs into action. Seeing no armor around the guard's ankles, Pat leapt for them with his knife, hoping to inhibit the guard's movement by cutting his ankles and possibly his Achilles tendon. After slashing, he rolled to the wall and leapt up, keeping a meter between him and the guard. | |||

| "Gaaaahhhnnn!!" yelled the guard as he felt a very intense pain shoot up from his ankles. The shock forced him to sit on the ground. He grabbed onto the now bleeding injuries tightly, as if trying squeeze the pain out. Seeing you so close to him, he gets back up with a limp. He suffers 16 Dmg from the attack. He raises his partisan and swings it down on you, inflicting 10 Dmg.

| "Ouch!" Yells Pat, and he jumps back to get out of the way of the weakened guard. He then pulled his gun and aimed it at the guards heda dn fired, then quickly at the guard's stomach and fired again. He holstered his gun and pulled his knife out, holding it at the ready to defend himself. | |||

Both the helmet and chest plate protected the sentry from certain death, but were unable to prevent the damage from the impact of the small projectiles when they bounce off. He is given 9 Dmg from your attack. He halts his actions so as to take a calm approach to take the offensive. | Pat took a few steps back from th eguard as he gathered his strength...that's when Pat noticed a barrel to his right. He uncorked it and sniffe dinside...it was filled with oil! The guard nmust've been refeuling the torches! He quickly kicked the barrell over and towards the guard, beign careful not to let any get on himself as it splashed all over the floor. Taking a few more steps back, he grabbed the next torch from the wall and hurled itjust in front of the guard where oil was spilling around. | |||

| The armor protecting the guards neck prevents the blade from penetrating, but the sharp impact causes 16 DMG and makes it hard to breath. He spends a few seconds tyring to get his breathing to normal and then launches an attack your way.
