| Microsoft's next generation console was revealed today on MTV. I didn't get to watch it, but I have read up a on it from the mtv website. Apparently, it will allow you to chat visually amongst many other things.
It seems pretty neat. But all I really care about is seeing what the next DoA or Ninja Gaiden will look like on it. For all the information, go here: Xbox 360 |

Shuyin: Don't forget, Tecmo has stated they're making another DOAX also ... probably for the Xbox 360. 
Tamarin: Yes, I still agree, and will forever live on laughing at the systems name. Vulkar: That's the thing, the show sucked ass (smells like MTV). All they really did was "Show" what the system looked like. I still enjoyed it though, it was cool seeing the previews for the upcoming game, especially ... PERFECT FREAKING DARK ZERONow, I'm sold.
But yeah, I still want some more answers on the system, like what you said Vulkar: is it backward compatible with the Xbox. I truly hope it is. One thing I have heard about it though, is that it has a 20 gig hardrive, compared to Xbox's 8 gig, I'd say that's pretty nice. And it comes with Xbox Live "ready to go", of course you'd still have to setup an account and stuff. So far, this system really is looking good. A strong launch title lineup, slick look. I truly hate how they "altered" the controller though (head to IGN if you haven't seen it yet). It's like the S controller, only with the triggers moved "up" and the start and select buttons moved to the center. I think they should have pulled a Sony, and should have just kept the original S controller design and just go ahead and go with another color or something, but oh well ... |

| I watched it as well the revealing of the XBOX 360 and I just hate how MTV brings pop culture to everything and I think microsoft made a big mistake showing the revealing on MTV. None to less I did enjoy it a little bit aside from all the pop culture, the killers their musical guest, and just the plain annoying gangster people on MTV.
Like Xeo said it was entertaing to see all games previewed and to see Perfect Dark Zero previewed as well. Still we didn't even get to see that much of perfect dark and they didn't reveal that much at all. Plus we barely got to see the deathmatch every 5 seconds they were changing camera angles and putting the camrea back on the player. Now that MTV has revealed it ign doesnt need to be quiet and now I hear they just have a load of information on their site. Wireless controllers do seem interesting but I still like regular controllers and it is an interesting step. I'm gald it comes with a rechargable battery though. Hopefully since microsoft has revelaed their next gen console on MTV they will reveal something even bigger and better at E3 *crosses fingers* I have no idea what it would be I just hope. |

| Man has anyone seen the new FPS, Gears of War being made for the Xbox 360 and PC?
Wow, the engine is so far out there, it looks killer. Seriously, before I saw this thing on MTV and before all the news started popping out, I just thought the Xbox 360 was going to be "meh", but it's definitely proven that it's going to be something totally awesome, and so far it seems to have a very promising lineup of early titles. Quake IV looks good too. And Condemned. So many good FPS's. I need to tear.  |

| I heard from a game developing company (dont remember...but I think it was ubi soft) Who are developing a game for both the Xbox 360 (agreed, horrible name) and the PS3, and they say that PS3 is going to be way more powerful, and this is coming from a Nintendo fanboy, I would favor Microsoft over Sony.... | |||

Whether or not that plan will work, I don't know. If you've seen charts, MS not only fails, but burns their faces off when it comes to the Japanese market. So I seriously don't think they'll be "On top of the game" in a long time. In short, yes, since the PS3 has had a lot more development put into it, and still has time, it has been stated even by MS themselves, that the PS3 will probably be superior in specs. |
