| Tamarin, if the name space issue was a problem, then they would have used Fenix Down instead. Phoenix was kinda long anyway, just add two more letters. Plus, I think you should try not arguing a person who really know what he was talking about...
As I was saying: It is probably the wording how they translate. For instance... Fenix Down Phoenix Down. Sound the same, but with a different meaning. Still, it would be nice to hear the real actual name for once and not a translated substitue verison because well... then Tamarin would shut up about which one is a accurate and not accurate. No offense but you really need to look at any possibility of what the real name might be. If Final Fantasy 3 is Final Fantasy 6, chances are... our translated verison screw up on few names. |

Well another thing I hate (even though it's pretty much been said already), is how Japan gets the real FULL version to games. They'll get everything, and even games we don't get. It's also kind of annoying when games are ported over from Japan, and then "altered" a bit. Take Devil May Cry 3 for example, our "Normal" mode, is apparently Japan's "Hard" mode. And I do remember that happening in a few other games too. (Final Fantasy IV, we got the Easy mode. But even on Chronicles, which was supposedly the Hard Type, the game was still incredibly easy for me ...) |

| Xeo, I'm pretty sure Chronicles was the Hard version. I'll see if I can find a translated SNES Hard Type ROM again. Still, FFIV didn't require much planning ahead. You always had the same characters for the same parts of the game, so if you couldn't kill something all you had to do was go level up. So of course it'd seem easy. =/ |
