I can identify with the whole "You suck at this!" comment when it comes to something that person wanted me to do. Those people can fuck themselves.

You previously lived in Palm Springs and moved to New Zealand, which I imagine is vastly different in climate and terrain. How would you compare the two? What's it been like to adjust to the changes?

It's been quite traumatising! Especially since my body was preparing for 110 degree weather and it only got up to 50! The humidity has also taken some adjustment: from extremely dry to extremely damp. It should make for a nice summer though. Christmas/holidays won't be too much different I imagine. I never thought I'd say it, but I really miss the brown of the desert and how empty it feels at dusk this time of year.

Another difficult thing for me is living in a city. New Zealand's capitol city at that. I'm thinking about moving out of Wellington and closer to my work, but we shall see.

Coming from a place that has 360 days of sunlight a year to a place that has 86-ish days of sunlight and receives about 50 inches of rain a year... I think I can get used to it. Lol

Last question: what makes you happy?

In short, security financially, emotionally and physically makes me happy. Having a long term plan or goal set in place to work towards, even if that plan changes or morphs into something else entirely.

Less seriously, my cat Eek. I miss him sleeping between my knees so that I couldn't move at night, or him meowing and nipping at me to wake up and feed him. His "squeaking" for me to come pet him when I got off work.

And my boyfriend makes me happy beyond belief, but I think that goes without saying.

Great answer.

Anything else you would like to include that I missed or any final statements?

Nothing more to say really. I'd like to thank you for this though, as I think I've learnt a lot about myself with your questions. They are things that I haven't given much thought about.

I'm glad.

Many happy returns, Belial.
