| Don't mind the mess, currently this thread is under construction, and thus isn't final as of June/ 20th/2011
So I have Fraps (Bought. Not pirated) and even software to record straight from a gaming console. I've been watching LP's for a long time now and I feel I can jump into the community and provide good insight and comedy into the games I play. However, as of this moment. There are certain things from stopping me: 1) Compiling in 1080p in a constant daily rotation. Currently on this computer it takes about maybe three days to compile in HD and even so the quality is abysmal because this computer is being a retard. Thankfully this will end this Friday. We already know why 2) Commentary sound quality. Currently, the only microphone I have is my PS3 Eye camera, it picks up sound in the most odd places in my room and thus the vocal quality sounds fine. But the uneeded ambience sound coming from my AC / outside makes the quality a little unneeded. Thankfully, I have a boom mic; it does not work on this computer. Again, terrible audio drivers limit the vocal imput on this computer a terrible 13htz, yikes. 3) Editing software. Not this one isn't really needed. But hey, I like to add a little pizazz here and there. Showcasing music titles, helpful annotations (Let's face it, Youtube annotations are annoying and unwanted), and more. No, I won't be making some stupid "Intro" channel that others use to wave around how big their penis is. But just enough to provide information and possible comedic moments. But this can't be an LP thread without a video! Well, I already have two videos on private on my Youtube. So far from the few that have seen it it's basically positive. But I'm not happy with it. Commentary is fine and all, and it's in 420p, but I just hate the fact that you will constantly hear my AC running and I don't want that at all. So now that we got that out of the way: yes, it's finally coming. Yes, I have some good games planned out for it, and no I am not taking requests at this moment. The only reason I am doing this is I want to work on my speech and possibly reduce my stuttering. Not to mention it might be interesting seeing my gameplay from another perspective. Mainly you guys! So what's my first game? Well, I think it's pretty damn obvious what my first game is gonna be. Everyone of my real life friends knows me for playing this game while they watch it. I pretty much plan on doing every single MGS game on home consoles. Excluding the PSP games (Due to technical difficulties) and extensions (VR Missions, Special editions due to limits, etc) But yeah I am pretty excited about working on this. |

| The only thing I am not looking forward to is playing MGS2. Twice.
Once for re playability to refresh my memory and the second time to actualy provide accurate commentary for the sake of it. But for now I am actually playing MGS1 again to refresh my memory on where everything is and not wait to record for when "Oh where is this one cardboard box at" instances. I hate LP's like that and I want my viewers to get very promising information out of the LP. But at the same time make a few jokes here and there. I love this game. So I really want to make a promising LP of this. |

| Not really, no. Unless it's very funny and is almost guaranteed to make your stomach burst with laughter.

| So, right now I am working on getting better internet. Which is one of the main things that I have been wanting to do for not only LPing, but streaming as well.
Just so everyone knows. I know I have posted that I was going to make an LP of not only MGS, but Duke Nukem Forever as well. I do, in fact, have three episodes of the LP on this computer right now. In full HD and everything. But the main problem is that it will take three days to upload. Which means I will either need to keep my computer on for a full thee days (Which is impossible due to when in sleep mode it turns off Internet access) or just get better internet. So, for now I am not going to say that I am working on getting this show up and running. But I will be getting my hands on a capture device so I can at least play the MGS series in the HD collection. It might be late. But at least it will be gorgeous to look at. More good news is that I did run some tests on upload speeds on my brother's internet speeds and it would take no longer than three hours on a full 720p video on Youtube. Which I am able to do. Just hang in there. I know on my profile I said "Coming in 2011". But I hope to have it happen late this year. This is something I want to do. And a good hobby I would like to pick up on.
