Xeoman: Also, most might tell you to skip ZZ, but don't. It's fun, just know it's not Zeta ... it's kind of like R2 compared to Geass' first season ... but on the other hand, it's mostly an entirely new cast and doesn't really ruin Zeta in anyway, unlike R2/Geass pretty much did. Anyways, prepare for epic, the UC Gundam world is the best! |

Xeoman: Honestly, you could go with the trilogy compilation. That's what I watched for the original, it does an excellent job summing up the whole thing (/m/ seems to agree). The Zeta movies on the other hand are terrible, they're mixed with new animation (nice for the battles, but nothing else) and it switched back between the old animation too, the change is huge and too noticeable. Also the ending is completely different and a few things are changed. ie: Most say the 0079 movies are great and a fine way to watch the original, but not for Zeta. This was probably way too huge. |
