So I think your points were valid and that she needed to hear them, but like Rogue said she is going to end up having to figure it out on her own. Later on, when she meets a decent guy and falls for him, she will feel very stupid for everything she has said and done... about all the guys she "loved" and everything like that. But for now, she's a teenager who doesn't let her mind do the thinking. She'll learn... you just need to be there to keep her going along the way. |

She had been like this in like the past 3 years..on a downward
spiral...it drives me nuts cause she is a really close friend... But the stupid shit she puts herself into...she has tryed to commit suicied twice...I have talked her out of it once and one time she told me she was thinking about it and I blew up on her and did my suicide rant and told her you know what go ahead and fucking do it.. |

Meh, I don't take offense to the comment. I mean, I know plenty of women (though mostly girls) who think and act much like this girl.
It's unavoidable. When you feel like you won't find anyone else ever again, you trick yourself into thinking that this is it and you have to hang on to it or you'll never be happy again. At least that's the mentality. It's a lack of self-confidence. |

First off, I wouldn't go so far as to generalize and say that "women suck" (although I can't stand many of them).
Second, this girl is definitely going to find herself kicked around and taking a few falls in life before she realizes what's what for herself. We (men and women) all have to fall on our faces once in a while before that good advice that was so quickly forgotten sinks in. I'd say she needed to hear it, but let her be. It's something she'll conclude herself while she's on the road to growing up. |
