Here's one of my favorites that I read from a shirt. It's one that sort of applies to me. I forgot exactly what the first part read.
"Kids aren't influenced by video games. If Pacman influenced kids then we'd be running around darkened rooms munching on magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music." I wanted to buy that shirt, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. If you didn't already pick up on it, the message is talking about raves.  I like raves. |

"Spreading the soundwaves of Trance music"
Although more of a motto than a quote, it's something I came up with a few years as text to put in my sig at the old Acmlm board. To this I still go by it, hoping that people will catch a beat or two of the stuff as they pass by me playing it or as I drive by in my car, hoping that they'll think it's pretty catchy or the least bit interseting. Still, I battle those who who rather rid it of the world, dealing with complaints of how it gives them headaches or how dumb it is. Maybe they were exposed to some bad songs and need to listen the upbeat tracks I usually have on. So that quote of gives the very resembling story of me taking on the role of God in a way that I'm trying to get people over to my side of the music world, or at least think Trance music sounds nice enough to give a listen or two. "Time flows beyond space. Space exists beyond time." This is another thing I made for my sig at the same board. The very first one I made, actually. The idea behind this one is that although physics states that space and time are bound together, it seems to me that they are also able to exist seperately, if the two were split apart. It's an idea that makes sense to me when I think about it. "Life is unfair, so why be fair to life?" Unlike the other two, this is 100% quote. It refers to life as an entity. My thought when I created this one years ago while driving home one night was that things didn't seem like they'd be good for me in the coming future. Why did I have to put up with not being able to do anything? People seemed to have better things coming to them. It was quite unfair. So I came up with the idea that I could possibly get a "cheat" and makes things turn in my favor instead of the rest of the world, that way I'd have an edge on everybody. Much like a video game cheat code. Infinite ammo or whatever. I have found my "cheat", and in a sense I do have an edge over everybody. But, it doesn't always work the way I want it to. Figures.¬_¬ |
