I don't download much anime. Not for lack of trying though. I had a bunch of movies a while back but my computer sucks right now, i've got dialup and a small hard drive so I can't really download what I would like to, like Naruto or Kenshin or RahXephon.

I'm going to be getting Naruto Eps 1 - 105... and it's going to take me approximetly one hour... but i'm cheating... a friend of mine actually got it before me... and he is going to put it on my External Harddrive... so it isn't going to take very long... and i too have Dial up... thats why i have my friends download my anime... it's much faster... hey if you want a fast download for manga that can be used even wiht Dial up... go to...
Directmanga.com it has just about anything you can think of... there reliable... free... and the translations are actually pretty good... |

I'd say no big deal if it's unlicensed, you should have every right to download whatever you want then, but if it's licensed ... then I'd say nobody can help you out there. |

Well, it may not mean a whole lot, but I at least buy as much anime as I download. There are just some that I'd rather get on DVD. For long series, like Naruto, I think buying them is a bit too much to spend. As far as the illegal stuff goes, what do you think make more money here in the US? Anime, or music? Anime is going to be one of the last things on the minds of the Feds because it's not popular, and by that I mean totally mainstream, like music. which is something that generates billions each year. If Pokemon was as big now as it was way back yonder and people were downloading like crazy, then there would probably be a problem. Besides, the only time you can DL anime is if it hasn't been licensed yet. When something isn't licensed, is it legal to arrest somebody for downloading it? I ask that as a question of curiousity becuase I don't know. |

lol, yeah but if you've used bittorrent before you know your in for a long session of dling, im dling OnePiece episodes 61-93 lets see i finally have 48% with only another.....49 hrs to go >.< I mean im sure its faster than dial up since i have cable but damn thats still a long time thats the only thing that I dont like about Bit Torrent lol. |

I have Dial UP. It takes me 300 HOURS just to download an hour and a half worth of Anime.

i say, as long as you're just DLing it for your own personal pleasure, and not selling it to anyone, no one should care. i mean, so what if i DL'em, i'll never buy'em anyways. i'll find one way or another to watch it w/o paying for it regardless. so yeah =/ and most ppl are like me, who do not plan to ever buy anything, and could careless if we could or could not watch it. if i get something good, good for me, if i dont get it, then w/e, i wont cry or nothing. |

anime is to be shared in my opinion, i have tons of bittorrents, this all just goes eye and eye pratically with like p2p networks and music sharing, its wrong to steal, but its not wrong to share =p but I but alot of anime and Manga to so i just see it as im re-embersing them in another way. Only thing that sucks is that the dubbed versions suck, the orignal japanese version subed is so much better in my opion. |

Ya... i havn't used alot of BitTorrent but what i have used has worked very well i.e. Last Exile, Puni Puni Poemi, and someting else i think... but i usually used to work with Kazaa and Bearshare... but i'm all about the Torrents now... heh... and technically... i don't download anime... my friend does... but he doesn't watch anime and he only does it cuz he has cable and i have dial up and i asked him to... so i still consider that to be me downloading animes.... |

I'm not into dling anime. It's something I just don't do because my honor tells me to get the fan subbed dvds. XD But that's about it. Anyway I really don't like the wait. PLUS I have problems with Bit Torrent. I hate Bit Torrent. |

Heh yeah I do it all the time. I'm always downloading anime all the time if you ask any of my friends they would probalaby say I'm always downloading something or have a torrent going. |

I personally don't because my computer doesn't have the disk space (I'm sitting at 3 gigs free ... ouch).
A lot of my friends do though, so that's how I usually see things that are unlicensed ... etc. |

I download anime all the time, mostly off of boxtorrents. Yeah, I get my fair share of illegal anime, even if it is all hentai. I have my boxed set of Trigun (which I got for $24.00, by the way), so I'm set. |
