The port we were going to be in Halloween morning (Ashdod) had been rocket-bombed by people from the Gaza Strip (happy Halloween?), and we had to drive across Israel. Went swimming in the Dead Sea, then visited the Masada fort. At night, they had a party up in the Crow's Nest bar on the top deck. I went wearing my elf ears and all the wait staff were asking if they could touch them. Since the cruise was peopled with mostly folks over 65, the party wasn't all that happening. Most of the music was non-Halloween-related oldies. Brandon requested "The Time Warp" and he and I were the only people on the dancefloor. The rest of the cruise, people were bumping into us on the ship or on the street wanting to talk about our dance.

I threw a costume together in a minute then went trick-or-treating for the last time ever. I had a pretty bad candy haul and it seemed like a lot less houses were participating in Halloween this year. |

Dressed as Jabbawockeez with some homeslimes and went to a big party thing then to the "club" in town. Danced up a storm, had a good time.
That was Saturday night, though. Today I just went to school. |

I carved a pumpkin, am wearing a witch hat, and passing out candy. It's kinda awesome... shame that it is cold and rainy though.

I'll probably be doing nothing like I have the past few years.
Probably a lot of drug addicts on our streets, cops come down here a lot, etc. Nobody touches this street, so it just helps fuel how apathetic and boring Halloween is to me thesedays.  |

Happy Halloween, Xeogamers! I was surprised there wasn't a thread for this already...=/
Anywho, I have the day off and I'm planning to get my place ready for the little rascals coming to my door asking for sweet candy goodness. I am excited for my first Halloween as a home owner. =D As for parties, I'm going to a post-halloween bash on the 12th (2 weeks after halloween is odd, I know) because I don't want to get in the way of the little children in costumes. What are all your plans? |
