Wait, seems like Delete All will only delete Received PMs. It shouldn't ever delete Sent PMs.

I'd like that if I'm on the Sent Messages and I click Delete All that it removes ONLY the Sent Messages not EVERYTHING in all Sent and Received. It defies intuitive interface.
So, no, no sarcasm. If not, your destructive message of "Are you sure?" should be a bit more descriptive to include the fact that EVERYTHING is going to be deleted. I test software for a living. This would be a major horrible bug. |

Or perharps I'm misunderstanding here, and that you'd rather want that clicking "Delete All" simply checks all? Or maybe sarcasm? |

I take it you don't get to the
page? The Delete Checked button makes a javascript box pop up, so if you have javascript disabled it might just be that. As for the whole database issue, the only change I made regarding deletion is that instead of deleting PMs, it hides them. In other word, if someone were to 'Delete All' by mistake, we could still recover them. |

I can't recreate either.
I checked a few PMs, clicked 'Delete Checked' and confirmed. Worked. Used Delete All, clicked on Confirm (not Delete Checked, I should remove that), all PMs deleted. |

Last we were told, it screws up with the DB on the backend, so the feature was disabled even though the interface is still there. |

There is, of course, the option to delete all PMs at once, from either your inbox or sent box. But for some reason, when I try to "Delete Checked", it doesnt work. A prompt box pops up on my screen asking if I am sure, and when I click "Okay", nothing happens. This can be a problem when I want to hang onto a couple PMs, but the rest os junk. It would judt make things easier.
I don't know if this is an all-around problem, or if it's just me, but I was just throwing it out there. I've talked to Cairoi and Xeo about it before, but they also had no idea what was wrong. Any ideas..? |
