Let's just say I spent 90 dollars on a prom dress, wore it for my junior, senior proms, AND went to a friend's senior prom the year after mine. So...45 bucks per prom, plus one free wear.
Other than that...I just bought two sweater dresses....10 bucks a piece. Whenever I need jeans...I go to a store called Charlotte Russe...sadly only place I have easy access to that makes jeans that aren't too long for me...I go to other stores, pick jeans that say "short" and my size, put 'em on, and they're STILL too long...fuckers. Spent 70 bucks on sneakers though....3 years ago...and not needing a new pair anytime soon. I'm cheap as hell. And Rogue, you shoulda beaten the shit outta them after they proved the pants were that cheap. Not right for people to falsely accuse you of something like that....those fuckers. |

I don't see the point of me buying clothing that expensive. I don't if other people notice something like. That they can tell how much your jeans were (unless they study them in magazines or whatever) and if the design/graphics on it were worth it. I couldn't get my self to buy something like that. Not jeans. Maybe, if a, expensive shirt looked really, really good and looked good on me I would consider the purchase. |

Since I absolutely HATE clothes shopping, I tend to spend a lot of money on them because I want them to last forever... lol.
I bought 2 pairs of Calvin Klein jeans (yay comfy), on sale for about $35 each... but I buy mostly t-shirts for tops. Which usually run $10-$20. |

Ha, even Wal*Mart does not believe they sell clothes that cheap, lol.
But yeah, I've been getting most of my jeans from Sam's Club lately (speaking of Wal*Mart, ha). Good jeans for under $20, you just have to jump on them when they are there. I buy tops randomly... target, hot topic, walmart. I actually just spent $20 on a shirt at the Aquarium of the Pacific gift shop... well, $18 or $19 since I get a member discount. But yeah, it's made from bamboo, and it is honestly the most comfortable shirt I have ever owned in my life. Technically it is a guy's shirt but, since I am a firm believer in short sleeves going past the arm pit, I tend to not buy girl's shirts very often. |

I'm with Elara. I HATE spending an ungodly amount of money on clothes. It needs to stay under $20. If my mom is helping out, it might go up to $25 or $30 for jeans.
i happened to be at Wal*Mart earlier tonight, and went through the clearance rack. I found a pair of green cargo pants for $6. I seriously stood at the register for $20 because the clerk swore up and down that I must have switched tags or something and they were running a price check. And even when the price check cleared, they still called the freaking manager to confirm the price. I tend to get clothes from Target or they somehow find their way into my house and rotation. |

Ugh, you can't find decent clothes at Hot Topic anymore, it's a shame. I used to like them 8 years ago, though! I mostly buy my stuff online. |

Kinda... you can find them, they just cost a lot.
Uh... I cringe at paying $20 for pants so I really cannot say that I splurge much for clothes. Most I have ever spent was $100 on a goth dress from Hot Topic back in 2000 for my 10th grade Winter Formal dance. My prom dress actually ended up costing less... though it was another goth dress from Hot Topic, that one was $80, so it was the 2nd most expensive thing I've bought. Oh... and I spent nearly $30 on a Landshark hat for my boyfriend. He loves that beer and you can only get the hats from the Margarittaville shops. But yeah, goth dresses aside, I usually don't go over $20-$25 for clothes. |

I spent close to $200 on clothes just last week. I was waiting to do that for months. I got 4 pairs of jeans for $15 each, I really needed them so that was a pretty good deal. Then I just got some random stuff, socks, white t-shirts, random hoodie, some nice button up shirts, etc.
I still need T-shirts though. I can't seem to find anything good though. I'm not a fan of band shirts (which are often black and I think I look terrible in black shirts), I'm out of the gamer-shirt phase, and yeah. It's just hard to find nice t-shirts that aren't stupid? |

No, not the movie.
But today it cost me a bit more than for 2 pairs of jeans. I remember why I didn't like buying clothes, now. (however, they are comfortable as hell). So this thread doesn't seem like my blog, do you guys buy expensive clothes? What are your tastes on them? As for me, I tend to favor dark pants, mostly jeans. I tend to wear either plain white t-shirts or band t-shirts. |
