Sorry you're overworked, Xeo. I imagine I'll be in that same boat soon.

I'm on my last two weekends and people are flaking on our plans together. You'd think I'd learn.

Been MIA since work is killing me lately. Lots of overtime lately.

Definitely need to get out of the first job. I made a mistake and scuffed a parked car. Left a note on the car and told my boss, against the urging of my co-worker to just drive away. I'm facing the possibility (again) of getting fired.

Tired as fuck of everything else there AND my boss is talking about pursuing a possible job in Texas.

Two weeks from my last hurrah before I lose all my weekends.

Hope it works out well! Could maybe lead to better full time ventures too or some business networking.

Been busy lately with the damn crazy weather. It was literally like 60 degrees on Sunday, when it was below freezing earlier last week, and then we had an ice storm last night. This was the third time this winter my job has had us call the hotline in first to see if the specimens/work was delivered and of course... yes. The day a production based corporation shuts down for weather in Kansas will truly blow my world away, I just laugh when supervisors tease us with this crap.

Super glad I got new tires in November since they've been put to work a lot this winter. It hasn't been a seriously bad winter, compared to one a few years ago back at my other apartment with my old roommate... we basically got snowed in. But yeah this winter has been pretty annoying and I'm ready for it to be done.

Got a new job. It's a part-time, second job, but I'm way more enthused about it than the current full time position of which I've held for four years now. Plus, helps bang out my credit card debt.

Since I'm currently only scheduled for weekends at new job until I work out how to get from one job to the other in a reasonable amount of time, I don't expect to have any weekends for a while. It's fine.

I wish I could say I had more irons in the fire, but I'm pretty much a dumpster fire these days.

Thanks for the concern. It's appreciated.

We're far enough from the Woolsey fire that our (Elara's and my) homes aren't in danger, but we're getting the smoke occasionally.

The Camp fire is on the other end of the state, but it's pretty much taken out an entire town of Paradise and killed 29 people. 48 people.

UPDATE: Changed the number to match with the most recent reportings since firefighters were finally able to enter some of the burned homes and take a tally of the bodies.

Hope you guys and everyone else are doing okay and away from the fires over there.

I thought you got out of retail?

Holiday season in retail. At my old club, it meant lots of prep and work your ass off. At the new club, it means you are basically a slave and your entire life outside of work doesn't matter.

Take lots of zinc. Good preventative and cuts colds short.

I had a lot of busy weekends lately, but yeah, work's back to sucking. It was to the point that I've been snapping in front of my boss, most especially at his mistress who acts like she's also a boss around there.

Lots of overtime lately for me, work has been pretty hectic since September. My paychecks are looking nicer than normal at least haha...

I always get sick in November... don't want to knock on wood here but I'm hoping I make it out this time!

Well, I've managed to keep busy, and people keep going, "Why are you still at this job you hate?" Because I let myself go through cycles of feeling comfortable. I still despise a lot of the people I work with, but I turn my focus back to the clients.

Anyway, I've always lived for the weekends.

Given there's literally no legitimate registrations in the past year or so, why not close registrations altogether or add a passkey for legitimate users perhaps coming from Jul?

I'd personally like to see the board rebooted using a stable fork, such as Kak2x/jul which I have tested and works on PHP 7.3 and MariaDB 10.1, this board software probably has a lot of holes due to being on outdated php version or something, idk

But I know that isn't happening as that'd probably be pointless to do, I'd still like to see something done that can make Xeogaming once more great

I'm also going through a fair amount of credit card debt at the moment. It's been consistently over $3,000 since the honeymoon. I deposit every paycheck right onto the credit card as payment and I never have cash.

Yeah, I'm probably not going to be going anywhere this Halloween, unless I have someone to go with me to Paramount to drop off that beer.

Oh yeah... I hate when Halloween lands on a weekday.

Well... yes and no. Brandon's working Halloween night, so it's likely I'll either stay home. It's been our unofficial tradition to go to this one guy's house to bring him a six-pack because he always decorates his house up so amazingly.

I'll be working during the day, so we'll probably have a Halloween/Harvest festival thing with the clients.

The weekend before Halloween, looks like we're going to a friend's band's show and that's it. Brandon's working practically every weekend this month. I'm a persistent weekend widow most of the time.

And it's not even Halloween!
(I imagine you'll be even busier that week?)

I'm the same way. A lot of shit never works for me, but Aleve actually does. The problem with naproxin is that you can only take so much in a day (2 pills first dose, 1 pill 12 hours later) before it's an overdose.

Glad to hear you had social time with people.

Brandon and I had a busy weekend.

Did Oktoberfest on Thursday. We were supposed to see an old friend from high school, but she forgot we were hanging out. I was actually glad this fell through. Oktoberfest was our Plan B that we had ready to go. We had brats, did the chicken dance, and I was in a drinking contest.

Friday, went to the Greek Orthodox Festival after work. Was sooo full of food. Could barely move.

On Saturday, Lee, Bran, and I went out to the apples. Got our cider and had our usual lunch at the colonial tavern. We pet the sheep and goats. There were tons of people. At night, went to a friend's birthday party and watched the big MMA fight.

Sunday was a college friend's wedding.

I'm exhausted and I have to go to work now.

Yeah, I'm keeping at it. Just think I have to be really mindful of my left shoulder and not overstretch it, or else it can mess me up for a whole day it seems.

I ended up trying Excedrin Migraine and didn't notice anything... so maybe it's tension headaches rather than migraines. I imagine tension is maybe more physical in the head and face, to which Tylenol seems to help a lot more than Excedrin, and I don't think Tylenol has all the anti-inflammation properties. I have no idea but maybe I'll try some Aleve and a few other brands. Not like I want to be dependent on these but they come in handy on really bad days, and maybe a certain type will lead me to what main issues I'm really having.

On a better note, I saw a ton of friends last night at a gaming party at my ex roommates apartment though, so finally got some more social life fun in for once haha. Might do a barcade night or something later this month for my birthday.
