this is pretty interesting actually, considering just only a couple weeks ago, as i recall, some two 8yr old boys were "raping" other 8yr old boys in the bathroom in the ass. One of the fathers say it was just kids being kids, as they didn't know what they were doing was wrong. I could kinda see that, like if they didn't know it was sex, it could just be boys messing with one other i guess?
I guess when a girl is involved, it's criminal =/ |

Generally, if the girl says "no" you are supposed to stop. If that is what happened and they did it anyway, then I am pretty sure that they knew what they were doing was wrong.
For the record, I knew about sex when I was 9. Fourth or fifth grade is when you first get shown that little miracle of life tape... though I knew beforehand. Not sure how I knew, but I've known since I was at least 4. When you think that little kids can't understand what you are talking about, think again. |

I think some of us need to get over the "yuck" factor. If they're sexually active, and there's a lack of indoctrination(God, society, etc--it varies from place to place), such things happen.
Also, I thought one had to have knowledge of the criminality of their action? It really doesn't seem at all equitable or sensible if people are charged for an action they lack understanding of. |

this is highly abnormal behavior for kids this yung. i have hurd of only one other simaler case, im not going to get up on a sope box and pretend i know the anser to this one becuse i dont whether or not this was rape is not what astounds me. what truly desterbs me is that this is not normal behavior for children under 10
yung kids tend to imitate things there parents do, i realy think the parents shuld be included in the investigation. |

It's a sad thing but that's one of the negative things in the my debate in the debate shrine. Parents. They go into detail about sex at an early age. At that age it should be where it would be good touch bad touch. |

what consens me most is all partys are under 10, when i was 9 i was just starting to come out of the "girls are icky" phase. theas kids had to have learned this frome some were and i would start whith the parents. |

So no one thinks the girls is lying to try not to look "dirty" to her parents? It wouldn't be the first time something like that happened. I just find it strange that it hasn't even been brought to court even and everyone is taking a side without knowing what really happened. |

Well, I think a psychologist is needed for all of them. 
Honestly though, I'm going to have to go against jail time. If they're eight and nine, and put in jail for five years, their life would be ruined. They couldn't get a proper education, and would come out right in the beginning of high school. Their lives would be ruined, and they probably wouldn't even finish high school. Honestly though, I have no idea what should be done. If they were adults, I'd say castrate them and keep them out of our jails, but they're little kids. I have no idea what should be done... |

The fact that kids under 10 are having sex alone disturbs the hell out of me, and adding onto that the possibility of children raping each other makes me lose even more faith in humanity that I thought I had left. What the hell is wrong with the world? |
